  • Is it safe to upgrade from IOS 3.1.3 to 4.2?

    I've been waiting patiently for IOS 4 functionality. I don't have to have it, but after I heard about the performance problems of 4.0 and 4.1 I was not going to take the leap.

    It sounds like some people are satisfied with 4.2.1 but I wanted to get a consensus and see if there were any stories, good or bad.

    I do have some applications that I would like to run that don't work under 3.1.3, like mileage Bug, but I really want to be sure.
