  • How to say "I'll keep on" (doing something) in Japanese?

I want to say "I'll keep on practising Japanese."

    This is my best attempt:

    にほんごならたつずきまそ。

    Nihongo naratta tsuzukimashō.

I know I probably misspelled sth haha, sorry.

  • Help me with this Japanese sentence?

So, someone corrected my sentence where I tried to say "I am learning Japanese because I like Japan." By adding いちゆう

    and だから.

    Giving me " わたしはにほんごをべんきようちゆう、なぜならにほんがすきだからです。"

I can't understand anything online for utiyuu or gakara. Could you help me understand them?

Gakara means nevertheless. And I can't find anything for utiyuu.

Thanks so much! I just started leaning Japanese 4 days ago and I really enjoy it, but it seems complicated as well :D

  • Why is Chronomaly Crystal Bones so important?

So, I've recently tried to make myself a Chronomaly deck (Yu-Gi-Oh!) and pretty much whenever I look at other people's deck lists they almost always include 3 Chronomaly Crystal Bones and after reading it's effect I can't see why. I mean, how often am I going to have my field wide open like that? What is the idea behind having this card in a Chronomaly deck?

    Thank you for answering!!

  • Can I force my father to pay for me to study abroad?

I'm 2 yrs away from finishing school and often think about what I want to do and where I want to study. Anyway, I've always had the dream of studying in the US (I'm in the UK), which my father could 100% pay for but my parents are divorced and I rarely see him. If I do, it's court mandated. I only go because I wouldn't leave my little sister alone with him. We don't have a good father-son relationship, but I figure that as a father he has certain responsibilities, right? If he definitely had the money to pay for it, could I make him? Or could I only make him pay for me to study in the UK/EU?

Thank you so much for your answers!

  • Where should my brother, mother and I move?

Okay I'm 14 and moved to country C a half a yr ago. My family and I are extremely unhappy here. Anyway, this whole time. I've wanted to move back to country B because all my real friends are there and we could get everything we want. Anyway I was born in country A and that's where my mum wants to move because that's where her best friend is, although she has REALLY good friends in B. Either way we're getting out of here but I recently changed my mind and agreed with my mum, but now I just changed my mind. I want spend my last yrs of school in B because it's where I've lived the most of my life, I really feel at home there although it would be a bit more expensive to move there (at the beginning because it's farther away) and harder because my parents are separated and my dad may not let us move, even if he's in country F (very far away) and could finance it. I'm just really confused. I know I would be happy in both countries, I feel like I would have better friends in B but a better relationship in A, cus I have a feeling A has more gays, like me :D

What questions should I ask myself? How would you make this decision? How would you try to convince my parents.

I talked my mom into moving to B before, could I do it again? Any tips in general?

  • Would it he wrong to tell someone you like them before you leave the country?

Ok, so first of all I'm not 100% sure if I'm leaving the country or not and If I do it'll probably be in about half a yr. I'm 16 (boy) and like this other boy. Ever since I've met him he just stuck on my mind. We're not really friends, but our friend groups often get together at recess. I think he might be gay because he once said something that suggested it and I asked him and he said yes, but it could have been in a "sarcastic" or "humourous" way, but I don't know... Oh I don't know. The great part is if I do.tell him and it's a no, for any reason, I'm leaving the country anyway. But also, if it's a yes and I leave the country, it might be a little stupid. We probably wouldn't cross paths again, unless I move back here (legally, not a prob) plus people here are more "open-minded" on the gay subject than people in the other country I want to move to. But it's not like there aren't boys over there plus I'm bi. And yeah long distance relationships DON'T WORK... He's seriously the definition of PERFECT. I don't know, it might be a good experience to have, you know, to tell someone you like them. I have never had a gf/bf or told anyone I liked them... So what would you do? Any personal experiences? Thank you!!

  • Stay here or go back "home"?

So I wrote home in quotation marks because I actually don't refer to anywhere as home. But in this case it's country A. I am and have been living in country B for almost 1 yr and a half now and at the start it was really horrible. Recently, during the last easter holidays I missed country A so much I decided I need to go back to it. I lived there for about 5 yrs and before that in another country. Anyway (I'm 16), when I came back to school two weeks ago, I noticed things were a bit better. I'm still alone during the recesses, but now I've found some people I can hang out with sometimes, and some friends I had from last year too. And there's this boy in my class who I really like , (I am a boy, too) so it's not like anything'll happen, but he's nice to me, we're not friends either but still. Anyway, I made this friend last yr, who I.liked, and now found out she's complete ***** and don't want to even be her friend anymore, but that would be a reason to go. My heritage is from country B and I am starting to get used to it here (but I still don't really have friends, idk I guess I'm just really depressed right now) and am also starting to have patriotic pride for it, I never really did before.

I had a really great life back in country A, but now it feels so distant, as if I could barely remember it and almost don't care anymore. But that's not 100% true either, because I have really great friends there and miss them so.much. The only real problem is my father. My parents are getting divorced and he went to a whole other country and isnt giving my mum enough money. There's not even a university fund for me, I'm starting to think about stuff like that.

Well, the thing is I'm not sure whether I miss country A anymore or if I'd like to stay here. I don't think I even really want to stay here. I'm just clueless. I had a great life, then it was just taken from me and now I've gotten somewhat used to living here. Any tips? Personal experiences?

  • Are these typical signs a guy likes you?

Ok so, I'm bisexual and today there was this boy at the bus stop whose group sort of mixed with mine (junior high school) and when I first looked at him I thought he was pretty cute, and then I noticed he was looking straight back at me and then we both looked away and then he looked back at me and I caught him staring again. This thing with not being able to stop looking at someone is sometimes what I do when I like someone, but this is the first time I've seen anyone else do it with me. And he smiled :D it was so adorable haha. I'm 15 and I think he's 14, but I'm kind of short anyway haha. Anyway is it a possible sign? Should I try to get to know him alittle? Any tips at all? THANKS VERY MUCH!

  • My grandmother is so annoying?

ok, so my mum and my grandmother got into a REALLY BIG argument about half a year ago and because of it my grandmother has been almost estranged from the family. Anyway my grandmother was completely wrong, but I do feel abit bad for her and I thinking "the past is the past" and my mother should just let go. But anyway my grandmother keeps on calling me, which gets very annoying because, seriously it's just always the same question, and I don't want to accompany her anymore to her german courses she's taking and blah blah. But the point is that she's always trying to invite me and my little brother over to her house and to do other stuff, but my mother just alway says no, and I'm the one who has to tell my grandmother. Anyway, any tips? Should I just lose contact with my grandmother, I honestly wouldnt care, we arent that close anyway. Should I just tell my mum to stop being a ***** about it? WHAT should I do?

  • I have the biggest crush on this boy but...?

Ok hi. I just met this boy a couple of months ago (we're both boys) (I'm 14 he's16) and he's honestly the sweetest guy I've ever met. I have the biggest crush ever on him!! :D We've gone out, as friends, A LOT since we met. And every time we see each other in person he's so nice and so funny, I noticed he's abit different (more open and smiley) with me than the other boys. Ok the point is, although he's really a great guy, whenever we chat on bb messenger, he pretty much ALWAYS answers with short answers, well half the time, but he did it the last time, literally just "yes" and "no" and it's really humiliating sometimes, at least last time, he just left me pretty much talking to myself. But the day after that when we saw each other in person and he was completely nice and normal again. Well anyway, today I started a convo, he didnt even answer me... and I'm always afraid that he'll never talk to me again cause when he left me talking to myself, I probably annoyed the hell out of him, but it's still not fair. How can he be my friend and not even answer my texts? But I know that he does care about me, at least as a friend. So any tips? Just really restrain myself from sending long messages and too many messages? Is that enough? And how do I eventually tell him I like him? Cause I really want to! Oh, go to a party, get drunk tell him I like him and if he reacts strangly I'll tell him the next day "WELL, I WAS DRUNK!! e.e" hahaha oh and I'm bi, and he's the only boy I like. Okay, thanks!! Oh and btws, last time we messaged was when he left me talking to myself, he didnt even answer..

  • Ok there's this girl who I've caught staring at me lately?

Ok I'm a boy, and think she's actually really cute and like her. Anyway, in the past few days I've caught her staring into my eyes and when I turn to her she doesnt even flinch, I her face just looks serene and speachless. We're not friends, but I think we both think of each other at least as decent people. And we're both single and 15 :D .Anyway, does it ever mean anything when someone stares at you that way more than once?? Okay, thanks!!

  • Any advice about dating?

I've recently noticed that I'm closer to more people, some of which I like a lot, at times, too much. Anyway I've been playing scenes in my head where they ask me out, but I seem to be unsure of whether to say yes or no, because there's the other 2 guys (I know it's unlikely, the three boys are beautiful) and one other girl( also.unlikely because she lives far away and is a very good friend, she's beautiful too) and I'm not polygamist so ... Anyway, I've seen that after I think about it a lot, I seem to distance myself from them, and I don't want to. So should I just wait for the first one that comes along? Any advice? :) thanks very much. I'm fifteen, a boy and have never been a relationship haha.

  • Cute boy is a real gentleman to me?

Ok so I'm still "new" at my school, my first school year here. And the students are really nice, I'm in year 8. (14yrs old) anyway, there's boy in my class who is so nice and considerate to me, at first I thought he's just really well raised, but then I noticed he only did it with me, and sometimes it's really unnecessary. I'm a boy too, anyway he holds open the door for me, everytime, he always joins me when he notices I'm walking alone towards our next class or whatever, also we were in a train, we were in a group, first he sat next to me, second when I got off to my stop he accompanied me to the door, although he didn't for the others before me.. Anyway I know that it could be abit biased cause I'm bisexual and he's really sweet but I cant help but make something out of it. What do you think? Oh and when were together we always have such a great time, he's really funny. Also any other tips with getting along with a new school.

  • Hey My mum keeps crying...?

Alright, so my mother has gotten divorced from my father and she, my brother and I moved back to her native country. Well yeah, my father was reAlly shitty to my whole family, and had a very short temper and a slight drinking problem, anyway all I can say is that living with him was horrible, he shouted over anything and quickly turned to anger. He also cheated on my mother a few times and my mother wanted to leave. Well she had a "friend", she says that they did love eachother, but that man is a big, fat piece of ****. AnywAy, she just obsessed with constantly thinking about him, and still does, she met than man through my father and when that man didn't want to speak to my mother anymore (he's married btw) she crazily thought my father and her language teacher (who was also my father's language teacher) came up with some crazy scheme to separate her and thAt man, although they were never together, but my mum liked him, and made up and picked up the wrong signs. Anyway she keeps on crying everyday over how he was taken away from her. And a part of me understands, she saw my, late, grandfather in the other man. But the hoe cant differentiate a crush and a real mate. If he were a real mate he would have called by now. Anyway, it's all she think about and at first I was sympathetic but now its almost pathetic and i will soon be angry with her because of how selfish she is being. My nine yr old brother has to watch her and its difficult enough as it is with the new country, new language, etc. I think her real problem is that she feels lonely since she has no more husband, not as if the first actually loved her, or a friend so it's difficult but we all have to go through this and she acts as if it was hardest on her, when in fact it's got to be the children. Ok thanks for reading up until now, all i would like is what i can do about it. I've tried telling her she needs friends, but she doesn't believe its enough. What would you tell her? Should I avoid her? Thanks!

  • Do bad dreams about your crush mean anything?

Like, would you believe that your subconscious mind, or whatever it is, is trying to warn you somehow? Any experience with these dreams? So I've had three dreams including him. The first was actually good, just us with some friends around, by a pool outside in the sun with lots of trees and we play around and we kiss. Then the second was bad, I dreamt I was at school and he made out with another guy (I'm a guy that's why). Then the latest was yesterday and I dreamt that we were at a party and he sat me down on a chair and this other girl who sometimes flirts with him in real life on a chair next to me, got everyone's attention and said, "I know you all think this is the girl for me." putting his hand behind her, "but" he said and the lights turned off and he touches my back, "this is my true love" and the lights turn back on and he gets down on one knee and asks me if I truely love him and I said yes and he asked if I would marry him, said yes. But noone clapped or anything everyone was quiet or I heard nothing. He led me into this darker room with stuff glowing in the dark and I started to tell him that I love him blah blah and he lead me into another room which I describe like a hallway of a movie theatre and there is the girl sitting on a chair and he turns around smirks and says it was all a joke and then sits down on same table as her and I start kicking his shins then I woke up, I think. Ok thanks for reading and answering if you do. Have you had bad dreams about your crush and told them you like them and it went wrong? I'M still really new at my school so he barely knows me, if I got to know him more would it be ok to tell him I like him if I trust him enough? He is the most adorable person I've ever met, truely pure and love him, whether he wants to just be friends or not. Should I move on? Are crushes any good at all?
