Recently my house lost power and as a result my computer was unable to boot.

I have an asus P7h55/usb3 motherboard, core i5 processor, a zotac geforce gtx 465 videocard, 4gb of ocz ddr3 memory, a 550? gb western digital caviar blue HDD, and a 650 watt power supply running windows 7 64bit.

with this hardware configuration it booted to the login screen then got a blue screen. it flashed quickly but i believe it was a memory dump. after that i would turn it on and not even the windows logo would show up, just a blank screen.

i tried re-seating everything, completely took apart the computer all the way down to the cpu out of the socket and tried to boot again, same black screen.

my next thought was to put in a known to be working hard drive from my asus EEEpc netbook (i know it works as im am on it now) every time i booted with the same hardware but with the netbook harddrive (also running windows 7 32-bit) it gets to the exact same point of the windows loading screen then flashes a blue screen to fast to read and reboots.

on reboot i have the option to do startup repair, which cant find any problems everytime. at this point i thought it might be a ram issue. so i dug out my old pc known to be working, i replaced it only to upgrade. the specs on this machine are:

biostar gf7100p motherboard, pentium D processor, using onboard video, and 4 gb of ddr2 corsair ram. i am also using a different power supply.

the thing i cant wrap my mind around is when i boot with the netbook HDD it does the same EXACT thing with completely different hardware. again i am currently using this netbook and harddrive to post this.

i dont understand this at all, maybe because its a laptop HDD? but i dont think that matters.

with the original HDD and second hardware configuration it still boots to a black screen.

both configurations work for an extended period of time when i have the windows installation disk in to attempt repairs and installations.

ive tired different SATA cables different power supplies different power cables different outlets in the house, nothing seems to change. i am at a complete loss of options.

any ideas, support, or knowledge of any kind is appreciated.

in reference to the image i need the 6pin power connector and the phone jack looking remote connector.

i also have an amp just for my speakers that has been in working condition. the reason im including details on this is because i plan to use the same remote wire for both amps. i also already have the low input wires hooked up because there used to be subs in my car.

my original plan was to take a 6 pin molex connector that i had laying around and connecting pins 1 &3 (12v power) together and run that to power on my battery with an inline fuse of course, then connecting pins 4-6 together and run that to ground on the battery.

in short i have two 18gauge wires connected to one 12gauge wire for power and three 18gauge wires connected to one 12 gauge wire for ground. (the 12 gauge wire is a cut computer power cable. cut at both ends to be used for two different wires)

for the remote wire i used a 4pin phone jack wire cut and stripped the four 22 or 24 gauge wires, put them together and connected it to my existing spliced remote wire.

when i first connected the wires the ground wire smoked at the connection to the battery and that wire got really hot.

the second attempt had no smoke or heat in the wires however the speakers and sub did not work.

my final attempt was while the speakers were on i tried touching power and ground to their respective terminals but they instantly smoked and literally red hot. which made me realize this probably isnt the best idea.

im looking for help in where i went wrong, alternative options, or somewhere where i can find these connectors specifically built for sub wiring. they are normally shipped with the sub but i got it from my aunt with no wires or connectors.

i have a bmp file on my laptop and i put it into shared documents on my pc.

i opened the network shared file in windows explorer and the bmp file isnt there, however in the laptop shared docs folder its there, but its not on the pc there are other files in the folder on the pc that are in the folder on the laptop

why isnt it there?

my laptop keyboard locks up when i try to type the password on the main windows screen. the touch mouse works until i press a key (any key) it just locks up and i have to shutdown its not a problem with the hardware because i have to 'press any key' to start up before the windows screen comes up and that works anyone have a solution?

i had this camera for a little less than a year and kinda sat on it so the lcd broke and by kinda sat on it i mean it was in my pocket when i jumped into my friends car so it broke.
