I have not dated a man even close to my own age for like six years. It is not that I am rejecting the attentions of men my age, I seem to get no offers. All the dates and relationships I have had have been with 20 somethings. Well 25-28. I am almost 40 myself. I am not sure why this disparity exists. Are a majority of men above 30 in long term relationships? Are men under 30 just more horny and desperate? I am not exactly sure.

I am considered relatively attractive but have very little success in my professional life, may be my poor financial situation scares away the men of appropriate age. I do refuse to date men under 25, that is just too young.

I have been allergic to dogs, cats and spring for aslong as I can remember. I would really like to have a dog or not get asthma attacks in the spring. I have gone through practically all over the counter meds available and they offer no help, other than eye drops. I have tried to get my doctor to prescribe something but he only writes prescriptions for over the counter meds that do not work. What options do I have that I could discuss with my doctor?
