  Can allergies and sinus infections make you have lost of taste?

  My son and I went to the doctor this afternoon but I forgot to ask the doctor if allergies can make you lose your sense of taste(taste buds). We didn't take the covid-19 test,since he looked inside of our mouths and ears. 

  My doctor goes by the symptoms. Everything I eat and drink has no taste as in flavor.

  Allergy help ?

  I’m temporarily fostering a cat, I’m allergic but not like deadly allergic. He didn’t bother me at all the first few weeks but now it’s starting to bother me. It’s mainly in the morning, my eyes are puffy , I’m congested, and I have a cough. It usually goes away by midday. I wash my sheets and pillow case every 4-5 days and am constantly cleaning as well as spraying him w anti-dander spray . I live in a small studio so it’s Impossible to keep him out of my bedroom . Any tips? I hate allergy meds because they make me so tired but I hate looking like an alien lol

  You need to lighten up a bit.

  And a covIDIOT is someone who hides for a year, even thought we have known how not to get covid for most of that time, when out in public.  Then belly-aches about how isolated they are.

  Can you randomly develop a peanut allergy?

  Earlier today I ate a pb&j and was fine but a few minutes ago I started to eat a spoon of peanutbutter and now my lips and mouth are tingling and I feel really warm? Idk what else it could be but I've never had issues before?

  Why are so many elderly people allergic to Penicillin?

  I recently started working as an EMT. For some reason, a lot of elderly patients seem to have allergies to Penicillin. Few younger patients have an allergy. Why is this?

  Sneezing and runny nose is not one of the common symptoms of Covid.  The first symptom is usually a fever.  The next most common is shortness of breathe due to lung congestion.  

  You are aware that 99% of people who get Covid do recover from it.

  Gluten Free @ restaurants ?

  If a server tells you they can accommodate a gluten free allergy aka celiac disease and the chef/manager agrees they can make a gluten free option with one or more entrees on menu, then there is an interaction resulting in symptoms of gluten allergy, do I report this to FDA. Who will check to see if they have a gluten free facility with in there kitchen or separate to securely offer me a meal?   Do I call a health inspector or what?

  Why do vaccines cause allergic reactions?

  People can technically be allergic to anything and vaccines have multiple ingredients, so if a person is allergic to one of those ingredients, they will be allergic to the vaccine... just like any other vaccine, food, etc.

  What causes nose bleed?

  I got a nose bleed and something long came out. What could that be? I never had nose bleed before that. Bleeding stopped.

  How is it possible that someone can call themselves gluten-free/have as they call it gluten allergies but still eat food with gluten in it?

  For example how is this possible someone claims to be gluten-free because they have a gluten allergy not celiacs disease but they can go to Greece and eat any drug they please and have no issues but when they come to the states and eat bread or products of gluten they have an allergy or a reaction. Also how is it possible for someone to eat like certain cookies namely Greek cookies or biscotti that have flour in them which include gluten and be okay or how is it okay that someone can eat pizza from a certain place that uses high gluten flour and have no reaction? The person claims that they can eat the pizza at this one place made with high gluten flour because the ingredients are fresh but I always thought that it doesn't matter what ingredients you put in it because you're not allergic to the ingredients you're allergic to the flour that has gluten in the pizza so they can use the freshest ingredients but that doesn't excuse the fact that there's gluten in the pizza which is what you're supposedly allergic to.

  Is it possible to develop fall allergies?

  I’m a 24 year old man and I’ve had spring allergies since I was about 9. Usually I get burning eyes that will develop film over them (allergic conjunctivitis), get a stuffy nose and sneeze up to 40 times in a row (no exaggeration). For the last 14 years of my life I only ever got these symptoms in the spring, from early April thru early June. Summer, fall and winter I am usually 100% fine and allergy free, but THIS year for some reason I’ve been having those same symptoms all fall from October-Now in December. My parents thinks it may be because of me quarantining during the spring time and not really being outside, and that would make sense to me BUT... I accepted a new job in July working OUTSIDE and I still work there, yet my allergies didn’t even start to bother me until October. I’m just so confused as to what’s going on and wondering if anyone has a clue. Fall used to be my fav season but if I’m going to wake up sneezing with burning crusty eyes I may just end myself cuz I’m not suffering thru this year around until I’m a senior citizen.

  allergic to cheerios?

  Everytime I eat stupid honey grain cheerios or whatever I get terrible stomach pains, and dirrehea. Am I allergic??
