I have a plant that looks like some variety of snake plant except that the leaves are round not flat, I have had it at least 6 years, a few months ago I moved it to a sunnier spot, it has grown since I moved it. It bloomed a couple of months ago along with my snake plant, the stalk looked exactly the same, now it is putting out some strange bud from underground, it looks a little like an amaryllis but but it is segmented looking like a stem, sorry have no clue on how to post a picture, but does anyone have a clue what this is?
