I trimmed my bald cypress today the limbs had gotten beaten down in last weeks hard rain and were too low to allow me to get out my front door to my car, I cut the pieces none very big around and put them on the street, pickup is tomorrow, someone grabbed them tonight, what would anyone do with them, make baskets? most of the people in my neighborhood are from the state of guerrero in Mexico, what did anyone want with my tree trimmings, none of the pieces were big enough around to make a cane or do much with

Bald cypress softwood cuttings used for propagation. Maybe someone wants to grow it. But as you have thrown it why you have to bother it?
