1 AnswerSoftware1 decade agoSubtracting Binary Numbers?
I need to subtract 564-255 in binary.
564= 1000110100
255= 11111111
I know you have to keep the first 1 & change the rest:
1000110100 +
00000001
When I do it manually I get 1000110101. I just don't know what to do with the last 2 digits to make it correct. The answer should be 309 but on paper it's no where near. I've no idea about 'borrowing' number etc.
Please help

1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoCan I sue the Job Centre?
I am being investigated for Benefit fraud, I was tes trading for 6 months on the New Deal scheme run through the job centre. I did not work before or after the test trading. I have declared everything to the inland revenue & the job centre but because of some error on the Job Centres side I am still registered as self employed even though I've told them & been in for interviews because the test trading was finished. I finished end of Jan 09 & have been signing on since & have had 13 week interviews etc...
Can I sue the job centre because of their incompetence & undue stress this has caused me & my family???

I left after the first year & so did most of the other students because it was badly run. I want to do a different foundation degree at another college but need to know if I'll get any more funding.
