What happened to the folders when I canceled delete?
I am using Windows Vista and my network to connect to hubby's computer which is XP.
There is a folder on hubby's computer that has other folders within which contained some family pictures, I selected all of these folders> did a right click> and choose delete, then I decided I had better double check my backup before I got rid of them so I then clicked on cancel.
Some of the folders have disappeared (I am sure deleted) but they are not in the recycle bin. I have checked my recycle bin and his recycle bin. I have done a search on each computer with no luck.
Does anyone know where these folders may have gone?
Thank you in advance

Is there a way to install Bookshelf 98 onto a computer's hard drive running Windows XP? If so, please tell me how.
Father-in-law is insisting on using this software but I must admit, it sounds like a program that should be re-invented. Lots of nice options.
Thank you
1 AnswerSoftware1 decade agoWhat equipment would I need for this?
Becasue of the way our house is situated I would like to set up a camera that would show in real time who has pulled up in our driveway and have it play on the computer.
Where do I start, what equipment would I need to buy and how hard will it be to set up?

1 AnswerOther - Computers1 decade agoIE6 problems after installing updates, anyone else?
After installing the latest windows updates (December 13th I believe) my Internet Explorer 6 won't load. I get the must shut down window with urlmon.dll being the problem, I have installed IE 7 until I can get this figured out.
I also found this to be the case with my moms computer but I was able to do a system restore on hers. I could do that with mine if my system restore worked.
I am using a Dell XPS 400, XP Pro, service pack 2
Thank you for any help anyone can give.

2 AnswersOther - Internet1 decade agoWhy do my images flicker when using graphic programs?
When ever I open an image to edit (scanned or digital) the picture flickers which makes it very difficult to crop or edit.
This does not happen when viewing web sites or just looking in the folders at thumbnails just when I open the picture with any of the three graphic progams I have installed.
Thank you
