Okay, so recently I've been wondering whether it's possible for me to have diabetes . . . I drink a lot of fluids, have to go to the toilet hourly in the day (although weirdly I can sleep through the night), feel constantly tired (especially first thing), and over the past week I've lost 5 pounds but my diet hasn't changed (if anything, I've been eating more junk food and doing less exercise in the run-up to Christmas). I also occasionally get tingles in my hands, which I read was another symptom, but that hasn't occured for a couple of weeks. Do you think these symptoms are serious enough to warrant me going to the doctor's for after Christmas? Am I being a hypochondriac here?

If it helps, I'm a fifteen year old girl, I've never had my blood sugar levels tested before, and I weight 110 pounds (I'm 5 foot 6).

Oh, and the reason I'm hesitant to go to the doctor's is because a) it's Christmas tomorrow! b) I think they'll laugh at me if I'm not diabetic for being a worrier and c) because I'm really not good with anything that involves taking a blood sample.

So I brought some new furniture, all in pine, but the problem is that the wardrobe is significantly lighter than everything else in my room, when I wanted it to match. Is there any way of making it darker? I'm hesistant to stain it since it's already assembled, but I will if I have to (if so, what type of stain would I need?)

I currently attend a grammar school (planning to stay on at 6th form too) but recently someone told me that if universities are stuck between two candidates, they usually pick the "underdog" i.e. someone from a state school. Is this true, and how much will it affect me? Thanks x

Hm, for some reason I keep getting little alerts telling me that "a virus has been detected and quarantined". However, I get this message about every 5-10 minutes, especially if I am on youtube or a site with ads. I know that quarantined viruses can't do any damage, but I'm worried as to why it keeps repeatedly trying to attack my computer - and yes, it's the same trojan every time, and it keeps re-occuring even if I don't delete it. Does anyone have any ideas? I run the virgin pc guard and it hasn't picked up on any viruses.

Mhm. I have an oval/round face (looks round, but length is actually 1.5 x width, which is strange) and I was wondering if round faces can be pretty without being "slimmed down"? Like, I know you can use contouring to make it more oval, but are round faces ever considered pretty when they're just . . . Round?

Also, if you think yes (or no) can you give me examples of good-looking female celebs with round faces, besides from Drew Barrymore who I personally don't find that attractive? (even though she looks better than me, lol)

Anyhoozle, I have this whitehead, right near my mouth. It's not too bad, but it's hard to conceal as it's literally right on my mouth and every time I drink my concealer comes off (grrr). So, I've popped it, smeared spot gel on it, and it ain't budging. It NEEDS to be gone by tomorrow, as I have something really important coming up with lots of photography involved. Any ideas on how to make it shrink/disappear overnight? Toothpaste usually helps a bit, but I was wondering if there was anything else.

I know the price is in dollars on their site and I could use google, but american companies usually charge extra to people in Britian, excluding shipping (stupid, right?)

Hey, I've just brought Clinique's new mineral makeup and I was wondering two things

-is it awful that it contains talc? I've heard differing opinions on this and would like to know more

-will it clog and enlarge my pores even if I take it off properly?

At the moment, I'm eating about 5-6 portions of fruit a day and 1-2 of veg. Is too much fruit bad for you? I know the sugar content is high (that's why it tastes nice ^-^), but is it the kind of sugar that will make you fat and spotty?

So, I'm travelling to Spain and because of recent terrorist attacks (I'm not really sure what happened lol) passengers like myself will be under "high security". What I want to know is - will I still be allowed to take my iPod on the plane with me?

I've just read that anyone travelling to certain parts of Spain (where I'm going, basically) will be subject to high airport security measures. What does that mean? And I'm also really confused about what can go in hand luggage - can I take my iPod? Thanks =)

Last night, I dropped wardrobe drawer on my foot and it hurt like HELL. At first I was concerned that I might have broken it because the pain kept me up for two hours in the early hours of this morning (before I remembered what painkillers were for), and it's still kind of throbbing now (not really much, though).

My concern comes from the fact that about 1/4 (maybe a bit more) of my big toenail had turned a smashing shade of purple/dark green. Mmm. I'm going to a theme park for my birthday tomorrow and I can't really call it off - any advice? What kind of shoes? I'm currently wearing six pairs of socks on the affected foot so that I can walk with less pain. At the moment, I'm walking okay if not with a slight limp.

Should I go see a doctor? I REALLY don't want to (too lazy =P), and I doubt they could do much anyway. Will I be okay to walk for a few hours tomorrow? And does anyone know any treatments? My mum says it will fall off, but that sounds painful =(

I have an acer aspire 5920 which I've had for about eleven months. It works perfectly except that it won't let me copy and paste large chunks (grrr), and I was wondering if the sims 3 would work on it? If not, would the sims 2?
