I have a now 6 week old niece. She is her parents first child for both. They don't like advice given to them about anything so I have respected that. I have spent an enormous amount of time with my niece. Staying the night to take care of her, her staying here, and babysitting during the day. Her mom went back to work 3 weeks ago cuz she didn't want to stay home. She is majorly depressed but will not make a drs. appointment but anyways they have done somethings I can chalk up to new parents mistakes but I worry alot about some of the mistakes like at 3 and a half weeks old my nieces mom gace her apple juice cuz he mom said to. Which I know is bad and even worse it was adult apple juice. My niece screamed for 4 hrs straight and they chalked it up to she was allergic to it which I know different. I am kind of in a rock and hard pplace esp when it comes to her mother. She has made comments about the baby being fat and ugly and she is going through a stage so why take pictures.

I really feel bad for my niece and my brother. He tells her not to do this stuff and she does it anyways. My brother hates the fact that he has to leave his daughter with me. He is in a rock and hard place cuz he wants to take care of both his girls. He also knows his daughter is in capable hands with me and his gf only wants him there with her. If you have read all of this I could use any help to try and work on this not only to help my brother and niece but to help her mom as well
