My dish network bill has gone up 11% in one month.

Is anyone else tired of Charlie Ergen? He is a billionaire and nickels and dimes us to death.

Isn't it time for a new satellite provider to compete with dish and direct by offering us total choice in picking out which channels we want to pay for? I only watch probably 12 channels. Wouldn't it be nice to only have to pay for the ones I WANT?

I have been wanting an AR and I have no idea where to start. I don't want any of the militant accessories. I do want the AR platform so I can have versatility going forward.

How can anyone honestly defend Obama? He directed the Justice Department to defer to state laws on marijuana use. Any use of Marijuana violates federal law. Obama sued Arizona over trying to help enforce Federal immigration laws. Now we have Obamacare. Obama keeps changing the rules and delaying this part of that part and giving waivers for other parts. Now he is going to let you keep your insurance plan even if it doesn't comply with Obamacare's mandates on essential benefits. He said it would be cruel to delay it any more since it is the law of the land. He said that during the debtlimit debates. It is the law of the land. Marijuana use violates federal. The laws should be implemented and enforced since they are the law of land.

What is a good out of the box initial AR to purchase?

I am looking for a vanilla AR that I can take to the range and learn to shoot. I would like to purchase one that comes with the ability to add options down the road. Initially I am not going to add anything. I want to be able to shoot it right out of the box.

What would would you say is the short list of manufactures to consider?
