So how bad is it?

My door keys don't work anymore ,so I have had to use a butterknife to get inside. Calling Landlord in the morning.

I can't dance to my fav. songs without singing, needless to say lip singing.

I met SG this pass summer. We were working on them moving from Chicago to Alabama, to live w/ me so that they could get a job and go to collage, since their mom refused to help them. Anyways, being that my roommates (at the time) and I didn't have enough room, I went and got my own place so SG could live w/ me 4 free until they got a job.

They told me they would be here in Sept 2009. Then it was Oct. 2009. A date was set for the end of Nov 2009. I told SG if they were not living here by Dec 1, 2009 that I was leaving for good, due to all the lies and being betrayed.

Dec 3, 2009 they told me that they had NO ATTENTIONS to fall in love w/ me, yet they did fall in love w/ me later on, or move down and that they knew this from the start. SG told me they didn't mean to lie to me.

They didn't just hurt me, they lied to me and for what?

I offered them a FREE place to stay. Most ppl would have left, after the fact, that they were locked up for depression problems, but I STAYED right by their side. We were going to get married after they got back on their feet.

Anyways, they lied to me from the start and they want to blame their mother due to she would not bring them here to live w/ me, yet all alone SG was lying to me FROM THE START.

Should I give them a second chance just as friends, or walk away forever?

I started to fall out of love with my g/f about a month ago due to her immaturity and always thinking I was cheating on her when I wasn't, due to her ex's cheated on her. I tried to hang in there, but now I can't due to that and now her mental illness, which has gotten worse in the past four months.

She is getting help and I am glad she is. However, I have been trying to help her with this issue for four months now and she never did anything to correct it until after she tried to kill herself over jealousy of me having another female friend (whom I am NOT dating). She promised me the last time she cut herself, (a month ago) that she would not do it again, yet she did it again and then tried to do kill herself a few days ago. It hurt me deeply. She says I am the only reason why she did not go through with it and that if she lost me she would kill herself.

My nerves can NOT take this any longer. I understand mental illness a little to well, don't get me wrong, but after four months of trying to help her and then this happens I am at the point of throwing in the towel.

As the radio dee-jay said last night, on the radio, if there is a 5 % chance of it working out fight for it, if not then don't.

On one hand there is a 5 % chance, but on the other hand if I stay I will be breaking a promise to myself.I promised myself I would NEVER get involved with ANYONE who has a bad case of mental illness, due to I just left my ex who is mentally ill who abused me for 7 yrs and I don't want to be walking on egg shells, or looking over my shoulder to see if she is going to hurt herself every time I open my mouth to make a point.

Point, I understand what she is going through and I still want to be by her side as her best friend, but not as her girl friend.

How do I tell her goodbye without her taking her life?

She is in the hospital as we speak. Should I tell her now or wait?
