  • What's it like in the Czech Republic?

I won a school essay contest to go to the Czech Republic for two weeks this June. I was wondering what kinds of food they serve in restaurants and what can typically be served in homes. I'll be staying with a host family and will eat most of my meals with them and I just want a general feel of what I can expect since it's probably very different from food here in the United States.

Also, does anyone know any common practices or customs I may come across there? A friend told me that beer is so cheap that they usually just serve that in the place of water at restaurants, but I'd like to know from someone who has actually been there. Thanks for any help!

  • How do I verify my PayPal account?

I have recently purchased an item from eBay for the first time and signed up for PayPal. My account information says I am unverified and to verify I must link my account to a bank account, even though it's linked to my debit card. Do I really have to do this? Although I'm sure people may say PayPal is trustworthy, I don't feel comfortable with doing that. Can I still have items shipped to me from eBay sellers who prefer "PayPal only" payment methods with my account being the way it is (i.e. linked to debit card, not bank account)? thank you!
