Hope

I was one of the unlucky ones that was expecting a dd on 1/25, but wmr kept a status of "will be processed by 1/31". I just checked wmr and it wanted me to verify more info, as if I entered my info wrong. It asked for my filing date and how it filed. It then stated that " We are sorry, we cannot provide any information about your refund." It told me to check back in over a week for further info. I'm scared y'all. :(

My daughter is nine, and her father just came into her life last year. He has been very good about getting her every other weekend when he has his other children. She says that she loves her brother and sister, but that she doesn't like her dad. I've explained that it is something that is still new, and that I can understand. Also, that in time I'm sure things will get better and that she will get to know him. She says that she doesn't want to get to know him. I'm not sure what to do; if I should do anything, and just let them work it out.

My daughter's father is not part of our lives and never has been. She is about to turn 8 and her questions are becoming more detailed. Tonight when I was putting her to bed she wanted to ask more questions. I do not want to lie to her, but at the same time I don't want her to feel unloved by anyone. The fact of the matter is I was young and was having an affair. I told her tonight that he did have another family. Granted I didn't talk about adultry or anything like that. Then it led to her next question...do I have a brother or sister. Which she does...one of each! I feel the more I answer her questions...the more complicated I'm making this for her. But I can't bring myself to lie or not to answer her questions....I need some serious help here...anyone...anyone...please...
