  • Bank Of America Issue?

Since May I Have been working on a Re FI with BofA. My income is high, my Credit is Excellent and my LTV is about 70%.

Everything is fine, so I thought. When I called they said they were backed up and I wouldn't close until August, than Sept than Oct but my rate and deal were located in, not to worry. I paid $400 to lock in 4.5% and loan discount fee of 2.875. All this was stated on my good faith estimate. Finally this week we are ready to close, and the fees have gone up to almost 3.7%. BofA admits it was their fault it took so long. I remind them I paid $400.00 and I was told that locked in my rate and it if it need to be extended I was told BofA would pay. They said no it took to long and we have to charge you. They accept blame, apologize for the inconvenience but will not give me my rate back.

I am not doing the loan and have made a complaint with my States Attorney General. I have kept notes and have names and time of things promised and a Good Faith estimate. I understand it is an estimate but the fees have gone up form about 5K to 8K because BofA took so long and they even admit it was their fault.

Anybody else having issues with BofA.

  • Taking care of business?

There is no real way to make a poll here but I wonder how many Republicans here vs. Democrats have health insurance.

Also the correlation between the two and the feeling of responsibility they take for themselves, their families and the condition in which they live.

I wonder which person has taken on the role of provider for their family as opposed to the ones wanting other to share that responsibility with others?

  • Dems vs Repubs ????????

    Maybe liberals vs. conservatives

Conservatives are protesting because the President has done thing they disagree with. I haven't even heard of any arrests but the press will try to make it wound like there chaos and danger everywhere.

Dems seem to protest them protesting.

They were quick to protest Bush ( and rightly so many of the times). Why don't the want others to protest?

  • Cash for clunkers, good or bad?

How many realize what this is really going to cost us. It is more than just the $4500 rebate. The government (you and me) is going to have to reimburse the dealership for the trade in value of the car as well as the rebate. The government (you and me) will all so have to pay to have the vehicle destroyed. $4500 +trade in value + destruction and disposal of the old vehicle = > $4500.

    Your thoughts?

  • Pricing Mobile/Manufactured Homes?

What "book" do people use for pricing these types of homes.

Before people answer don't buy one they depreciate etc, don't. At a certain point some trailers can be flipped and profit can be made. In my area there is a HUGE demand and market for inexpensive housing. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean the is no market for it.

  • Primerica question?

I am looking into Primerica for a refi. Their offer looks good on paper. They have 2 week billing cycles that refigure your principal more often. They require me to carry life insurance with them, but it is a good rate.

An body have any experience with them? Any comments good or bad?

I understand how it all works, my concern is having to maintain life insurance with them. Will they suddenly raise my rates? They have told me there are no pre-payment penalties and I can get out of the loan without any costs.

  • Credit question?

My three scores are 750, 710, and 680. The 680 is becasue of Sears. I had unknowingly recieved a master card credit card from them when knowingly I recieved the in-store card. They charged my M/C for fraud prection and I din't relaize until I was trying to get a second on my home.

When I found out I called Sears, they took of all the charges Balance now eguals zero. They said they would send a letter to the credit agency explaing their mistake.

When I check my credit it no longer relflect any deliquency, the balance now shows zero but it shows a 30, 60, and 90 day late and that score is down to a 680. This score has knocked me to a different catagory when it comes to loans.

Another issue is my job. These late payment can make me appear to be unreliable and cause me work problems. I have explained them to my current command and all is good at this point but I don't know about the future.

What can I do to fix this????

  • getting licensed in MO??

I understand how to get the lic, I have completed the neccessary education and testing.

I live in a rural area and the offices here are C21, Remax, V.I.P. and Realty Executive. I am Military and will be ending that career in about a year and a half.

I have talked with C21 and Realty Executives, they said they will hire me part time, I have been a Recruiter and held other sales postions. I am leaning to C21 becasue its closer to my home and the area in whcih I want to market.

I have read quite a few comments telling people to stay away fom part timers but I cannot quite my job and I have to feed my family so I thought I would get a jump start on a new career.

When deciding on who to work for what should I look for. Any advice would be appriciated.
