so i met this guy on tinder and we talked forever yesterday. At the end of the convo he gave me his number. I texted him and we talked more but all of a sudden he went MIA mid convo. He had mentioned earlier in the convo about grabbing a drink sometime. I left the convo with let me know if you wanna hang out sometime and i heard nothing back. I really would like to meet him but not sure if he is going to text me again. Should i message him and just ask if he would like to grab a drink sometime this week or see if he text me again?

My land lord is asking for rent in cash this month and I lied to her and said I had the money but I don't. I have 70 dollars and my account has overdraft.

I have been dating my boyfriend for 2 years. I am single mother of 2 girls (ages 7 and 9).

When we first started dating we were SO happy and in love.

Over the last 6 months life has gotten in the way and things have def taken a turn.

I could sit here and tell you all the details but I would write a book.

To get to the point we aren't doing so well and I go home everyday and feel like he hates me. He says he wants to keep trying b/c he cares about me and the kids but he seems to not want to be around me anymore.

This is breaking my heart and the more I push the more he pushes away.

Please someone tell me what to do. I feel like the saddest thing in the world is when two people who were in love grow apart and I desperately want to get it back but I don't know how.

I was looking under our bed last night and moving my hands through the carpet and and one single dangly earing with the back on it popped up in the carpet. It was a see through diamond earing so it blended in with the carpet. I took it downstairs and asked my boyfriends daughter if it was hers and she said no. My boyfriend was sitting right there and he didn't seem fazed by it at all.

As a woman with MAJOR trust issues my mind started going a mile a minute. One I don't think my boyfriend would cheat on me b/c our upstairs bedroom is kinda messy and I don't think he would ever take another woman in there. Second, it was just one earing and the back was on the earing. We were moving things around in our bedroom a few weeks ago and maybe it has always been there from the previous owners and I never saw it.

What should I think/do? I don't want to blame him for something and make him feel like I don't trust him.

Should I just TRUST and let it go?!

I have ADD for my whole life and I have taken Adderall on and off for about 10 plus years. I stopped taking while I had my kids and started taking it again two years ago while going through a divorce. I love the way it makes me feel and I loveeeeeeeeeeeeee the weight control aspects of it.

I had to recently stop taking it b/c of my new insurance I can't afford it anymore. Since stopping it I have realized I'm not as jittery, I'm more calm, I'm more reasonable and think more about decisions I make. I'm not irritable, etc. I think in general it makes me better not to be on it. However, I really really miss the way I could go all day without eating and how slim I felt. I have gained 10 pounds since stopping. I'm not fat in anyway, I'm still considered "healthy" but I loved how I didn't even have to try and I could stay skinny.

I have been thinking of a way to get back on the medication but I know I shouldn't and I should do things the healthy way.

Anyone who has been on this drug or had an addiction to please give me some advice and tell me why I SHOULDNT get back on it.

Last week we got in a horrible fight and he confessed to me that he "doesn't love me right now" but he still deeply cares for me and my children. He has decided he wants to keep trying and give it a few months but he wants me to get some help for my issues.

My boyfriend and I have been together fro two years and we have always seen eye to eye on almost everything. He got me a puppy for Christmas and I love her but we are SEVERLY disagreeing on care for her. He use to work night shift and I worked days shift so we never had a problem but he just recently got a new job as a day shift. He is freaking out now that we will have to leave the puppy (8 months/potty trained) in a kennel for the day. My mom has a lot on her plate right now she is taking care of my sister who is ill. He seems to think my mom needs to watch the puppy dur ing the day and I really don't want to put that on her. I think the puppy would be FINE in her kennel during the day but he thinks this is cruel. This is causes a big fight between us and I have even brought up getting rid of the dog to a better home since we are so busy but he doesn't want to.

What should I do and am I wrong for thinking the dog will be fine in her kennel?

My boyfriend and I are both divorced and both have two girls. We have been together for two and a half years. We both came from horrible marriages and when we found each other it was like we finally found someone we worked with, our relationship was easy and fun.

He treats my kids wonderfully, like his own. He bought me a trip 6 months ago and it was rumored he was going to propose on the trip. ( I overheard a family member talking). I have been so excited but the last couple of months we have been fighting a lot and our relationship has hit some road bumps.

Just last weekend we got in a pretty good fight. He said we both have changed. We decided to really work on our relationship and that we loved each other a lot.

We have always been very good, hardly ever fought. Now it seems like he gets agitated easily. I don't know if he was nervous b/c he was thinking about proposing and got cold feet.

Either way, I love this man and we go on our trip in two weeks. I want to let everything go and just enjoy each other. In the back of my head though I'm disappointed about the proposal and worried about us.

How do I get us back on track and enjoy this trip, knowing he was thinking about proposing and now he most likely isn't.

He gave it to me in August and we are going in February. This is my dream trip! He told his teenage daughter that he was thinking of giving me a ring while on the trip. she slipped and told me. I happen to find out also that he told my mom also that he might give me a ring (my family has big mouths). Well our tip is a month away and I just don't know if he is going to or not.

I'm afraid his daughter told him that I know and he isn't going to do it.

I don't understand why he would tell my mom and than not do it but I'm just scared that I know all of this now and he isn't going to do it and will be a let down.

My boyfriend of two and half years planned a surprise trip to Iceland/Netherlands. We both are divorced and have kids but we are perfect for each other. He came from a very controlling/abusive marriage on her part. He had told me early on in our relationship he wasn’t sure if he would ever get married again. However our families have mixed well and he is the love of my life. My mom kind of slipped to me and told me he might propose to me on our trip. I think she was concerned b/c I had come from a bad marriage and wanted to make sure I was sure.

Ever since I found this out, it is all i can think of. He use to be the “bachelor” type guy and I diff can tell he is ready to settle down by his actions lately; yet I question if he really is going to propose all the time.

Do you think he is really going to propose?! For one he bought me this amazing trip, he has been trying to save money and has been a lot more concerned with money. He talks about the future all the time, loves my kids like his own. He talks about the car we will get in a few years, getting a dog, trips we will take in the future, etc.

Lately however he has been acting very strange, kind of moody. He has been all over the place. He seems uptight and has needed his space a lot more lately. Given his past I can understand why he would be nervous to think of marriage again but I have proven to him time and time again that I love him and I will always be here for him.

His teenage daughter was home over the summer and she slipped to me that he was thinking of proposing on the trip. Lately he has been super on edge, he is all of a sudden asking me if he looks older than that guy, if he looks old, he is growing out his hair, he suddenly deleted all of his social media b/c he said it isn’t important to him anymore. He has been waiting for something in the mail and he asked me to open an envelope for him last night but it wasn’t what he was expecting. He got home later and asked where the paper was that I opened. I showed him and he seemed panicked so I asked him what was wrong and he said he thought it was a credit card statement. HE seemed all worried if I had opened a credit card statement. He is not one to cheat and we share a cell bill and nothing in our cell bills says he is cheating. NO calls, texts, etc. my mind has even gone there time to time but I know he wouldn’t do that. He has even told my mother he is thinking of proposing and I don’t think he would do that if he was just going to go out and cheat. He came from a very bad marriage, she cheated on him. a proposal is a big step/ commitment for him. We are very good together and he talks about the future, years down the line all the time. I know he sees a future but just not sure what he is going through. Is this a “freak out” before a proposal?
