I vaguely remember this movie where a dad is training his two sons to be killers and one son is wholeheartedly going along with it but the other one is like "noooooooo". They have a cellar where there keep victims? And he uses his sons to lure the criminals in.

The dad and one of the sons have psychic powers that allow them to know if someone is evil or not and they can't be caught on camera? And all of there murdering turns out to be Dexter style vigilante stuff killing child molesters and such.

Okay, I was randomly thinking about a book I read years ago when I was a kid and I can not think of the title to save my life.

Basically all I remember is that there is a little girl that gets adopted by a witch. But they don't outright say she's a witch, it just something people suspect. The witch is kind, she starts teaching the girl some magic stuff. At one point she gives the girl her own room but it's so big and far away that she has nightmares so she moves the room to her bedroom closet? And I think the little girl is covered in mud and taught how to fly? Someone definitely serves a brief stint in jail for suspected witchcraft. And I think it ended with watching a ship approaching from a cliff.
