  • Almost 18 but I keep doing very childish things?

    Hello, I'm a soon-to-be 18 year old girl.

I always was kind of a weird kid, usually solitary but sometimes very needy and pushy.

I had some rough years as a young teen, when I was about 14-15 (self mutilation/alcohol abuse) but I got through those.

I've never even been kissed and if someone with "intentions" even touches me on the arm i just freeze.

Lately I started to notice how much I cry hysterically about nothing, like my mum coming home an hour late or my younger brothers (11&13) picking on me. They are really mean and just throw their bags and jackets at me like I don't even exist, or they explicitly say they hate me.

I just feel so lost and alone and my parents have been angry at each other a lot the last few years. Most of the time it's about me because my father says I'm really brazen and he shouts at me and then I start shouting back. My mother then gets angry at my father for calling my very offensive names.

My 13 year old brother has autism but I don't think I have autism. My father probably has autism too and he sometimes drinks a lot.

I'm a good student (highest form of education and going to university next year)

  • Breast size difference?

    I hate my breasts.

    One's a full C, the other one's a small B.

I can't wear fitting dresses and t-shirts, or tops, because it is really noticeable.

I'll be 18 in November and i'm afraid they'll stay like this forever.

Can anyone tell me what I should do?

  • Attracted to girls with blue eyes and guys with brown eyes?

    Hey y'all! I'm just a little curious....

I'm a 18 year old girl and I'm pretty much bisexual (not very important rn).

I'm attracted to clear & bright eyed girls, so blue & grey (and greenish blue) is pretty much my type.

With boys, it's totally different: I like dark eyes, brown and dark hazel and (almost) black.

I think it's really funny but I wonder, is it common? Can it be explained? (I'm brown eyed myself btw)

  • Should I study Linguistics or English Language & Culture?

I'm a Dutch girl and I can't decide on my study

I'm torn between Linguistics and English Language & Culture. I love languages in general but I prefer English and Welsh. I'm also really interested in the old cultures and religions of the United Kingdom.

I'm not sure what to choose and I'm supposed to know it at the end of this year.

Also, I really hope that I can find a job in the United Kingdom and that's why I'm not sure if studying English is the best option: I'll never be as good as someone who's mother language is English.

  • Is it necessary to watch the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" movie?

I want to start watching the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, but since the events take place after the movie, I was wondering whether it's necessary to watch it.

I hate that they have different actors and I don't want to get used to Kristy Swanson's face, you know?

  • A girl with brown hair and green eyes?

I'm looking for some pictures of girls with brown hair and green eyes, so that I can further pinpoint my character's looks.

The hair colour is ash brown and the eye colour is more brownish green than blueish!

The age doesn't really matter, but she should not look older than about 24.

  • What do you think about these titles?

I've finished writing a trilogy a while ago.

It took me five years to do this, but I'm still not sure what to call them.

It's all about character growth, a youngster aging up.

Another main theme is shape shifting (no werewolves, guys. Scientifically possible, conservation of mass shape shifting).

This is why I was thinking of calling them Changing - Becoming - Being.

    What do you think? :)

  • What to do about huge eyebags?

I'm only seventeen and I have had huge eyesacks since I was like eleven. People always think I'm tired/sick/depressed and it's starting to annoy me. The worst thing is that they're always there, everyday, never looking better.

  • Name: Abner or Ebenezer?

Hey y'all! I writing this book and well, I'm really picky and I stress over small things.

There's this minor character, the father of my main character's best friend and I can't decide on his name. He's an introverted guy that spends a lot of time working on his shoe collection. His wife is more open and friendly, loves cooking and her name is Demetria Hodgekiss. His daughter, the best friend, is an honest, smart and forward girl named Sophie Hodgekiss.

I just don't know which name to choose, so I'm here to ask for your opinions!

I can't decide between Abner and Ebenezer. So yeah, what to do you think? :)
