  • Car mileage for work: is my company taking advantage of me?

Ive heard they are, but just need some more opinions... Ive been hired recently as a sales rep. for a local company. To start, they were paying me hourly plus a very small commission over my sales. Three months probation later, the only change was a 2% raise on my commission, which is usually not a lot. For a normal sales day route I drive over 100 miles. So my question is; Should I be payed somehow for all this mileage im putting in my car? Are they obligated to do so, or it changes from company to company? Does all sales people receive car allowance or mileage when on the road?? Please help!! Thanks!

  • Is this a case for Social Services?

I live on the 3rd floor and on the 4th floor of my building there is a young couple and a newborn. The baby cries hysterically for hours, many times a day. At first it was just a matter of I couldn't sleep/work with such noise, but later Ive realized the baby cries for too long. I have the impression maybe those are negligent parents... I don't know if there's an abuse, but def. negligence. What should I do? Call the police? Social Services? Who would handle this situation better? Please help!

  • Which car should I buy? (I think guys would know better)?

I just think men usually know more about that stuff than women, but Ill appreciate all answers! Well.. tired of fixing my 2002 car, so Ive decided to get a newer one. Not brand new, but at least not older than 2006 model, the thing is I don't know what car should I pick. What I need:

Not much really. I don't care about engine and power stuff because here in HI we cant speed anyways, so as long as it moves, Im ok with that. I cant have a hatch or coupe model because I carry stuff around for work. I work on sales, so I drive ALL DAY, so being good in gas is def. A MUST. Also, is there such a thing as cars that breaks less and gives less headaches and problems than others? Please help...

  • Period exit / Pee exit the same?

ok, you might think this is a weird and dirty question, but its not. Lats night I realized one think and kept asking myself, with no answers, so I thought Id ask here. We women, already know that the blood from our period comes out of the body from one place, where the pee comes from another one. Why then, when we have a tampon and we pee, if we take the tampon out, it comes saturated with pee? If there are two different exits, how come the pee reaches the tampon?

  • Passport name diferent than green card name...?

My brazilian passport has my maiden name in it, and an expired visa, but the passport itself is still good. My green card has my married name. Will I have some kind of problem when trying to get back to my home here in US because of that?

  • Green card interview... was I approved or denied?

I just got back from my interview... it was actually pretty good, the officer was very friendly and everything went smooth. All my friends had their passports stamped right there, so I was expecting the same would happen, but he said he would review my case later today and if approved, I would receive my card within a month. If he needed something else, he would call us for a second interview. I wasn't sure if this was a good or bad thing. If our marriage is for real, the interview went well... why did he need to review the case and didn't approve us right away? Do you know something about it?

  • Have you been upset for growing up?

Im turning 26 this week and for the first time in my life, Im not happy about the fact Im growing. Dont take me wrong, Im not a Peter Pan, but what bothers me is the fact Ill be 26 and haven't accomplished half of the things I wish I had. I haven't found a career that I love, haven't traveled enough, haven't found true love, haven't been able to start my Masters.. so many things... Ive heard it is normal in your 20's to feel that way because we are still figuring out life. Have that happened to you? Am I worrying about something too silly? Please share your opinion...

  • Is there such a thing as a cheating confession?

I mean, if I have been cheated by my husband and he writes a statement saying he did so and we notarize it, is this a valid/enough proof for me to file for divorce without losing my rights?

  • Am I wrong on asking my husband to find a normal job?

So my husband is a financial planner and makes commision only. He has to pay a maintanace fee of $1200/month just to keep his licence plus a $1300/month rent ofr his office. What he makes can barely pay his rent and we are going through tough times. We are on food stamps and have only money to pay one more month of rent. Im having a hard time finding a full time job, but keep up doing cleaning, food sampling at Costco and whatever I can get to make money decently. I keep telling him to go get a regular job, even if the pay is not good, but at least he would have an income, but he refuses to have a boss. He refuses to step down his Financial Advisor level and work in a restaurant or a bank. I dont think it is fair that Im working my *** off doing things I know Im overqualified to do because we need money and he keeps working in something that only keeps us in the red zone. Am I wrong?

  • This is very delicate, I need some advice please!?

I was hired as a housekeeper/personal assistant for a wonderful family. Ive worked for them for over a year and they were like parents to me. My main duty was to keep the house and manage their busy lives, but they had a 12 years old daughter that was a trouble maker. She was doing drungs, tried to kill herself, was having sex and kissing girls. Her parents were so wonderful they didnt deserve that. I once reported what was going on and the girl was bitchy to me for a month and the mother got upset to me for not stoping her daughter (!!!). After that Ive decided to not report thoses things anymore and let her mom to deal with her and solve those issues between family, I just thought I didnt have to get involved in such drama and kept doing my job. I got fired for not reporting the last time the girl had sex with 3 girls in her bedroom. My ex boss who was like a mother for me now ignores me and do not wish to talk to me. I miss her, but dont think she was fair to me. I wasnt the girls nanny, but my former boss told me that it was still my responsibility to watch her daughter. Was I wrong? What did I do wrong?

  • Is this depression what Im going through?

3 months ago Ive found out that my husband have been cheating on me with multiple women, spend ALL our savings money to the point we had to apply for food stamps to eat, I lost my very well paid job and found out that my mother have stolen all the money I had in my savings account in my home country. All this is the same WEEK! Since then Ive been ion a emotional roller coaster. Ive thought about killing myself twice. But then at moments Im fine. I go out to the beach with Friends and laugh. Then I get home and cry for 2 days. Then I try to forgive my husband and try to be in peace, then I break things and scream for no reason. One day Im ok, other day Im terrible. Nobody - friends, husband and myself - really seems to worry since Im not down ALL THE TIME. We all take it as women mood swings and sometimes even PMS. Is this depression? Do I need to be in bed crying for days non stop to be depressed? Or I can be depressed and only show it some times? Please tell me what you think.

  • North American x Latin America differences in bed should be an issue in a marriage?

Im a woman from latin america married to a american man. We've dated for over 2 years before getting married and sex wasn't the highlight of the relationship. I thought sex is not everything and I loved who he was so I would be able to deal with that. Now we are married and sex sucks. Im a passionate, open minded, up for anything good looking woman and enjoy sex a lot. He often complains I want too much... everything is predictable, same way, same time, same place.. when it happens. Ive told him million times that I need more adventure, him to be more spontaneous, more creative, but he seems to ignore me. Im frustrated because all my friends that married american men said that they are a like that, cold in bed and we have to get used to it. I never thought it would be an issue when we got married, but now it is. Am I wrong on trying to expect him to keep up with my sexuality?

p.s. I don't know if it changes something but Ive recently found he was addicted to porn and cheated on me virtually a lot before we got married. It doest make any sense right? He got me burning here and he needed the computer?? Am I wrong or missing something??
