Ex. When i first start dragon age, the loading is almost instant, then after an hour of playing, the loading for each zone just gets longer and longer, sometimes 4-6 minute load. But after i restart the game, everything is fine. WTF is going on?

My spec: Anthlonx2 2.3ghz. ATi hd4850, 4gb ram. 320 hdd.

Games play on my pc perfectly, its just the damn loading gets ridiculously long the longer i play.

My computer would lock up weirdly. First it would lock up some applications, then it would lock up the start menu, then the desktop, then finally my mouse.

I have tried almost everything from restoring my computer to an earlier time to check/fix errors on my HDD. I disabled all my programs. Nothing seems to work and im kind of running out of hope.

My system is a self built gaming pc running on XP, it has amd anthlon dual core 2.3gh, 4 gb of ram, 320hdd with 181gb free space.

I had my self built gaming pc for almost 2 years. Just recently i started to get lock ups. It would first start locking up one application. then it would lock up another, then the startup bar, and then the desktop. I have to be forced to reboot.

I tried to reboot with absolutely no program running, it doesnt make a difference

Dont really know what to do, i have tried everything from restoring to an earlier time, disabling all software.....

i have one character with 6 stacks of death penalty debuffs. Is there a way to get rid of it besides using the injury kit

I just installed Ubuntu. I downloaded couple programs but the problem is, the program extracts into a bunch of files and folders and i dont know how to install or where to go to install.

Whats the dos command to boot from a cd?

My bios wont let me change the boot orders so i need to boot from dos.

I have heard of lots of different Linux OS like Ubunto and Mandriva.

Im pretty computer savy so which one do you think fits me best?

The graphics only lags in Multiplayer mode. Its perfectly fine in single player. Any ideas?

for some strange reason, i can player COD4 on the highest settings in Single player mode perfectly. But in Multiplayer, the graphics lags like crazy. It skips every half a second. Even if i put it in the lowest settings, it still lags.

Even if i start a LAN game with just myself in the game, it still lags. BTW, the multiplayer menu lags and skips also. WTH is going on?
