  • Cannot connect laptop to wireless network?

For the past week or so my laptop won't connect to the internet via the wireless connection. However, my phone and PS3 connects to it no problem. I have disabled the wireless adaptor and then enabled it again which didn't do anything as well as restarting the laptop numerous times. I have also uninstalled and re-installed the wireless driver and still nothing. I then went out and bought a USB wireless adapter and installed the required software and again.....nothing!

Does anyone know what the cause of this is and how to fix it?

A couple of months ago I did get a virus on my laptop but was professionally repaired. More recently I had a problem with my Google search engine being replaced with something called iMesh. I uninstalled anything related to this iMesh and managed to get Google back as my search engine. I'm not sure if there was something dormant that may be responsible for my wireless to stop working all of sudden.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • How to remove iMesh search engine?

Someone in my household, no doubt my son, installed iMesh onto the family laptop. I have uninstalled the program by the usual root of control panel and uninstall. When I do a search for iMesh on the computer no files come up so I assumed all traces of it were gone. However, every time Internet Explorer is opened iMesh is there as some sort of search engine as the homepage. I have tried to switch my homepage back to Google but to no avail.

Is there anyway to get Google back as my homepage and, if so, how do I do it?

    Kind regards.

  • How do you calculate force from mass?

I needed to calculate the force exerted to a lever but I only had a weighing scale. I attached the scales to the lever via a hook and pull the scales so the pedal would move. At maximum displacement of the lever I got a reading of 4.1kg. How do I convert this result into Newtons?

    Many thanks.

  • iTunes fault, lost playlists?

When I opened my iTunes today a bar came up reading "importing". After that a box came up saying something along the lines that there is a fault with my iTunes library and that a different version of iTunes would replace it. Since then I have lost all the smart playlists such as "recently added", "top rated" etc. Is there anything I can do to restore this playlists or set new ones up?

    Many thanks.
