Got attacked by the virus that locks the computer. Tried to reboot several times, but all I get is a black screen with a white line in the upper left hand corner. I've tried pressing F8 several times when it starts to boot up to access Safe Mode, but that does not work either. I've tried pressing and holding as well as F2 and F12. The result is always the same. Any suggestions on how to get to Safe Mode?

My husband cheated on me on the internet pretty bad. He did not see the girl because she lives far away but otherwise he would have cheated all the way. He came clean himself, he seems to feel very sorry and he says all the right words. While I'm talking to him, I want to forgive but not sure if I can. I keep on dwelling on the details and it makes me very mad. We had a very good marriage up to now, that's why it is such a shock. My thoughts are running from forgiveness to divorce to suicide. I applied for a mortgage today and got a rate of 6.0% if I lock today (I still did not). This is a 30 year/fixed, 20% downpayment and I have to pay down 2.75 points to get this rate. There is no additional fee for it if I lock 30 days out. However, I'm still 50 days out. For 45 days out I have to pay 1/8 of a point and for 60 days out 1/4 of a point. My question is, should I lock now since the rate is good or should I wait and risk an increase in interest rates. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

My husband and I are getting ready to apply for a mortgage. I checked our FICO scores. His is 794 - mine is 764. Should we apply together or should he apply by himself since his score is better? Also, I've heard that if I apply for a mortgage with a number of companies over a two week period, it would count as one application.
