  • Would a coconut home be safe to use with a boa?

I have an argentine red tail boa cross and she's 6 months old. Would a coconut home (like those that are made for hermit crabs) be safe to use as a hiding place? Only experienced snake keepers please!

  • Hermit crab question? Experienced keepers only please!?

So I have been caring for hermit crabs very successfully for about two years now and I've gained a huge interest in keeping different species and I was wondering if I could keep ecuidorian crabs with my purple pinchers or would I need a separate habitat? Also how big of a tank would I need for say 20-25 hemit crabs? And would they breed? Thanks to all answers

  • My first Brazilian wax tomorrow!?

I'm 19 and I've shaved down there since I was 15 but I'm sick of it! I have an appointment to get my very first Brazilian wax tomorrow evening and I'm insanely nervous! How much does it hurt? How bad is the pain compared to a tattoo? Should I drink alcohol before? How long should the hair be? Am I going to cry? Will it look good as soon as it's done or will it take time to let the bumps heal? Answers to any or all questions would be greatly appreciated!

  • Can you "potty train" an umbrella cockatoo?

So we got our umbrella cockatoo named indica from my father in law a couple months ago. We love her temperament and has been a great pet. She's 20 years old and has a HUGE personality. She is mostly sweet and very gentle so we love to have her out in the living room and kitchen whenever we are home. She does occasionally indulge in destroying stuff if left alone in a room, I can handle that. What I can't handle is her pooping everywhere. Her cage is on tile, so that's easily cleaned and disinfected, but when she goes on the carpet, or on furniture I find myself frustrated. What I was wondering is if there is any way to train her to go back to her cage to do her business? If so then how? Thanks to everybody who has suggestions!

  • Can you choose to have a c section?

If a woman is pregnant can they choose to have a c section over vaginal birth? My husband and I are currently trying to get pregnant and I was wondering if I could choose to have a scheduled c section over having a vaginal birth? It's mainly personal issues and a few minor health concerns that makes me want a c section. And I know doctors will encourage me to have a vaginal birth but is it ultimately me and my husbands choice?

  • How is my horse so accident prone?

I have two APHA registered horses. A 7 year old gelding and a 3 year old mare, both of which are calf roping horses. I just find it curious that no matter how safe the barn and pastures are, my mare is ALWAYS hurt from one thing or another. While my gelding (who stays in the same barn and pasture) has never been hurt (knock on wood). How can this be????!!!!!
