Help me finding a movie , 10 points for the one who gets it right :)?
it's an old one, about a prisoner who is sentenced penal servitude ( labor ) , and has cuffs on legs like the one in the photo , then , with an axe, he breaks them and run away...
later in the movie, he enters a cinema, to find out that the movie (in the cinema ) is about his life and how he broke out ( i think he started crying when he saw the character in the movie )

while I'm studying mathematics , I go through big functions like : f(x) = sec(x)^4/( tan(x)^2 + 2tan(x)+1) or g(x) = e^3x / (e^2x + sqrt(x-3)e^x ) then the question goes like : find the integration or the area under the curve... now, my question is : why???? what is the use of integrating such functions ? where shall I use them later , in physics, in engineering in .... ?
seriously, i'm not complaining, i'm just trying to expand my knowledge :)
2 AnswersMathematics6 years agoMathematics, why ?
while I'm studying mathematics , I go through weird functions like :
f(x) = sec(x)^4/( tan(x)^2 + 2tan(x)+1)
or
g(x) = e^3x / (e^2x + sqrt(x-3)e^x )
then the question goes like : find the integration or the area under the curve...
now, my question is : WHY ? why would someone ever need this ? who needs such functions and where do they use them?
