Any one ever take a supplement or applied a solution that actually made your nails grow faster. Nail split and it needs to grow out, but taking forever!

What actually happens to bug spray like mosquito repellent when it expires? Does it become less effective, or does it become toxic?

I am travelling to Switzerland for a week and need to be able to call back to California. Don't need a ton of minutes, but would like to have a cell phone instead of a calling card so I don't have to find a phone or deal with the other charges involved with pay phones. Any body purchased one and had good experience with it?

I know someone who takes his friend to the airport and picks him up twice a week. The driver did this for about 9 months for nothing, no gas money or anything. The guy who is flying gets money from his company for travel to and from the airport for mileage. Recently the guy who flies started giving that money to his friend. But he is kind of acting like he is doing him a big favor by doing so. What do you think? Does the money 'belong' to the flier or the driver?

Have you gone through the classes to get the lap band procedure? What was the result? Did you get approved or rejected and why?

I understand you have to take 24 weeks of classes and then get cleared by a Kaiser physician before you are referred to the barriatric physician who will then determine if you are a candidate. I am wondering what percentage of folks go through it all and then are refused for the procedure.
