I am recently married and my husband, who is normally affectionate and kind, started blowing me off. The hours I work right now limit our time to about half hour each night during the week, but our weekends are open. Well, this last weekend he ended up having to work Sunday, so we had made plans to spend time together Saturday. Well, all day saturday he was hanging out with everyone else. He MIGHT have squeezed in 2 hours the whole day for me. Then, later that night when he gets home, he is cuddling and telling me how much I mean to him and how devistated he would be if I ever left. (I had told him earlier when he asked if I would be upset if he went somewhere, that I didn't care how he spent his time, it was his to spend). All day Sunday he kept saying that he would make sure to spend more time with me and that he had been a jerk, but really couldn't tell me why. I know he hasn't cheated. I know where he goes when he isn't with me. (and yes, I KNOW for a FACT--no one is more suspicious than I am of ANYTHING). He seems sincere, but I don't understand--what causes men to act this way?
