I read an interesting answer from this forum by yahoo answers on line and I'm setting the record straight. Whatever you hear about greens and calcium take it with a grain of salt. Is there calcium in greens--yes--is there enough calcium for your daily requirements--no. Not unless you want to eat nothing but greens all day. Here is the true facts about calcium and greens taken from a vegan website.

Collard greens, cooked, 1 cup - 357 mg

Turnip greens, cooked, 1 cup - 249 mg

Kale, cooked, 1 cup - 179 mg

Bok choy, cooked, 1 cup - 158 mg

Mustard greens, cooked, 1 cup - 152 mg

Broccoli, cooked, 1 cup - 94 mg

In contrast--

1 cup of plain yogurt has about 420 MG of calcium

1-8oz glass of milk has 300 MG

a 1 inch cube of cheese has 200 Mg

It was also stated that the Calcium in yogurt was artificial--wrong. Plain yogurt is made from milk. It may or may not have cream added and like cheese it has good bacteria added to make it into yogurt.

We had vinyl sofit put on our house 2 years ago. They drilled large holes in the existing wooden sofit and said that would be all that is required but there is no cold air going into the attic from the sofit and when I took a piece of the material they used and ran it under the tap water wouldn't even go through it.

Is there a way to add screen vents to the existing sofit where the vents were on the old wooden one. Can one of those sofit pieces slip out and be replaced with a vent? Is there even such a vent that I can use?

Something has to be done to allow the cold air into the attic. The roof vents and windmar turbine isn't enough to keep away ice dams by allowing cold air into the attic

I just got a very disturbing phone call. This guy who could barely speak English said he was from Microsoft and I had a very serious virus on my computer. I said-- I just had my computer to my tech last week and he checked it over and updated my antivirus. Oh this guy says your tech and your antivirus can't detect this virus. 1 red flag--You'll have to give me access to your computer so I can fix it says he and dozens of red flags went off and I hung up.

In the first place I was sceptical because I never heard of Microsoft calling people but give him access to my computer so he could get my banking info --no way. If someone calls saying they are from Microsoft hang up.

I have been looking at E-readers as a gift for my DIL for Christmas, but I'm a bit confused. Kindle fire is not available here nor are there any books for it, so that's out. With Kobo vox you have to buy the books from them. I want one where you can download books from anywhere and that is a good deal for the money. I've not heard of others but there must be some. If you have one what kind and is it good or do you wish it had a feature you don't have?

My fellow artist has Vista and I have Windows XP. She can take a photo or drawing and resize it to a large size then divide it into 4 equal parts and print it that way. Each computer paper has 1/4 of the picture. Is there any way I can download the paint program from Vista on to my XP. If I can do I have to remove the paint program that is installed on my computer first

I've made pizzas before and have the recipe. This year for Christmas I thought I'd make pizza pockets for the grand kids. I'd like to freeze them so they could have them for lunches. Has anyone ever frozen them? Do you do them baked or unbaked ?How do you prepare them --thaw or unthawed? If thawed how long do you heat them? What temperature?
