Corn Flakes

It doesn't need to be great since I am a writer and not solely a photographer. However, I do need to snap a few pictures once in a while, when I can't get an actual photographer to come with me.

I just need some digital camera that can take sharp pictures. I'll also need it to be easy and quick to transfer files.

I've read that MegaPixels have to do with size of printing or some sort. Not sure what it means. Could someone explain this?

If it does have to do with size, what would be a good amount of MP to be able to change it's size when needed.

I was thinking of buying one. I want to know if you can get rid of books or if you can change memory cards or something. Thanks.

It says the car drove for 2 hours at 50 mph and then sped up to 70 mph for the next 3 hours. Does the time count the total time 2h+ 3h or just the 3h? Thanks

I work with guitars a lot and sometimes I need to cut wood slots, but a dremle is too slow and messy or my hands can't control it. Anyway I don't want a cheap power tool, I want something I can use for years.

I saw some routers, but they say stuff like 3/4, 3 3/4 and sizes like that. What does that mean?

I also ran a search through yahoo answers and people spoke about plunge or bushings and other stuff. I need a detailed answer, because I don't know much on power tools except for power drills.

My bass is a P-bass copy by danelectro (Rumor bass) but I took off the chorus FX it had and added a jazz bass pickup near the bridge. I now want to add a toggle switch. I just need help with the wiring.

It will be a 3-way toggle switch

this is a project and its practice for me so please don't say take it to a musical instrument store or buy a new one.

I have a bass neck and a bass body, but the neck is bigger than the body. It also has a curve and the neck slot is straight.How do I make them fit? I am training as a luthier so don't tell me to take it to someone. Its probably easier to modify the neck slot right?

Any tips or a website with instructions would be awesome. The books I have don't talk about this, only about building one or wiring and stuff.

I bought a DanElectro Rumor bass body with pickups and everything except the neck. I was planning on using a Fender neck, but they're too big. The Rumor has a neck slot of 2 3/16 wide. Fenders are like 2 8/16.

Do you know a website where I can find one?

So, my band and I are going to start gigging soon and and I need a louder bass amp. I've been using a 50 watt for practice.

We play punk rock with a drummer and two guitarist plus vocals and I the bassist.

I'm mostly there for rhythm, not to showcase myself.

gigs will be in backyards, school auditorium, house parties...

Anyway how much watts should the amp have?

And whats a good combo amp? I don't really care about distortion, even if it plays clean, I'm good.

So I want a Fretless bass neck. I have a bass guitar with fret bars on the neck. How could I take them out? I have played a fretless bar bass guitar and I like the feel.

I'm outgrowing my current bass which is a squire affinity. I use to have a schecter omen, but it drained batteries like crazy (Yes, I would unplug it.) Don't really want a schecter anyway.

Hey I already play Piano/keyboard, Bass guitar and some percussion.

I'm in a punk band as the keyboadist, but would like to contribute with another instrument as the bass guitar and percussion spot is taken.

I am not seeking the easiest or hardest, but the funnest. Please do not say guitar as I do not like the guitar.

So whats a fun instrument to learn to play? Inexpensiveness is a huge plus.

Okay so I'm trying out for a couple bands this weekend as the keyboardist. Most of them are punk, but one is funk. How do I play funk? I'm use to punk, but funk? What are some good songs to listen to, so I can get funky and not punky?

Is funk like Ska, but slower? I'm clueless here. I'm primarily a bassist, but I'm more valuable as a keyboardist.

I'm looking to substitute the drummer position.I am just tired of not being able to find a reliable drummer plus I'm curious. If you are just going to say that I can't then don't answer. I also don't want a drum machine or artificial drum sounds.

What musical instrument can I use to substitute the drums?

I'm in a punk band that has a Ramones/ Rancid type of sound. We have not been able to find a reliable drummer so we need to find a substitute.

I don't need help finding my voice, I just need to get acustomed to yelling a lot. I'm a low talker so yelling for me is a giant step.

I'm new to vocals, but will be taking them over because we have not found anyone yet. Anyway, what is a good mic for punk vocals. Yelling, not singing. I friend recommended a Shure 51 or 58, I don't remember exactly.

I need to keep it under 100 for the mic and stand plus cable. I'll most likely buy used.

So I'm repairing an acoustic guitar. I need to use glue, but it calls for hide glue which is animal hide grounded up, boil...etc

So how do I fix it?

Can I insert a plank of wood in the inside and glue it together and add another on the outside? I doubt glue alone will solve it. I also doubt filling it in will solve it.

Note: This is not my guitar and I did not do this to it so don't blame me. The owner said it was hurt in a moving accident.
