  • Anyone seen the weird light tonight? I think it was an alien craft.?

Today around 1:45am 11/27/10 in southern california close to LA. At first I thought it was a planet with a brown or orange reflection. But then it was hovering/moving too quickly. It wasn't zipping back and forth. It was more like hovering and couldn't stay still as if there was too much wind. It was north of the big dipper. Couldn't keep watching, it was too cold and my neck was hurting. I know its not a satellite. Like the space station. I've seen the space station go across the sky. It was moving pretty fast and in a straight line. Just to make sure I've searched the sky for airplanes and I have seen a couple. They have blinking lights so you know its a airplane.

  • Where can I get a kiss-able?

Where can I find the valentine's day version of the Hershey's Kissables? I don't want to buy them online. I want to buy them at a store, never liked buying food products over the internet and having to wait for the package. They have to be in those small individual packages where you can write To: so and so and From: so and so. I've seen the big bag ones, but thats not what I'm looking for.

btw I'm in the Orange County, California area.

  • Going to sue a company, what must I do?

I work for a interstate auto carrier based in California. We contracted a load from an auto broker company based in Arizona. One of my truckers picked up a vehicle and delivered it damaged. We worked with the customer and got it repaired. The auto broker said they will not pay the money owed to us until the repair is done. After the repair was finished, they claim that the load was dispatched out to our company and not to our contracted drivers. So they are trying not to pay. Most of our drivers are independent truckers, who owns their own truck and trailer and pays for their own insurance, whom are contracted to work for us. We have signed contracts with our drivers. Even all the documents used are in our company name and not the independent contractors name. Even the bond company denied our claim. Will I be able to sue this other company?

  • Can the broker withhold payment to the carrier after the vehicle has been delivered?

A couple of vehicles has been damaged during transport. The broker is refusing to send payments unless they see proof that the insurance claim is going through. If it is wrong of them to withhold payment, is there some documentation from the DOT or FMCSA to prove that they are wrong. And what actions can I take to make them pay?
