  • Where do I find materials to study to become a registered Auctioneer?

In the state of Michigan anyone can be an auctioneer. However to be a Registered Auctioneer there is (naturally) a fee to pay, and one must also pass a test. I would like to become a registered auctioneer, and be able to auction Homes, land and autos. Where can I find information to study up for the test, or even learn while being an apprentice auctioneer? All of my auction experience is as a buyer of goods and buyer of delinquent storage units. Any advice is welcome.

  • How (and Where) do I report a Non-Profit organization for fraudulent practices?

There is a Non Profit organization in my town, with several branches that do different things, running under one name. One of the branches holds fund raisers twice a year and is very successful at what they do. However, they do not tell the donors that all the money goes into one "central" account and that the money they donate operates several factions of the organization.

Since the people who donate their money may not want to support these other factions of the organization,I feel this is at the least deceptive and quite possibly fraudulent and against the law.

How, and to whom, do I report such a thing?
