I have a condo that it is stated I am responsible for the sheetrock in and the association is responsible for the studs out. Before I purchased this condo the previous owner replaced the windows with a board approved contractor back in 1992. Now we find out that the flashing was done improperly and the wall supporting the roof is rotting and needs to be repaired. the board is now saying that we are responsible for the repairs. If they are responsible for the studs then why are the saying I am responsible when it is the studs that are rotting. Keep in mind that the contractor was approved by the board to do this work.
