Sansa Fuze 4GB...How to alphabetize songs?
I got a sansa fuze, and when I added the songs, the songs show up in a list with the artist's name first. I want the track name first, and in alphabetical order. Does anyone know how to actually do this, without guessing? I've checked the music options on the device itself, and the CD that came with the player does nothing except try to direct me to Rhapsody.
2 AnswersMusic & Music Players1 decade agoAnti-Virus-1 on my computer; is it gone for good?
If you are familiar with Anti-Virus-1, then you know what the pop-up looks like and how it looks legitimate. Well, it downloaded onto my computer and after about 2 minutes I realized this wasn't part of my anti-virus software on my laptop. So I searched for it in my Add/Remove programs and found nothing. I deleted it off my desktop and my recycle bin thinking that may help, but the balloons kept coming up etc, etc. So I shut down my laptop as well as took out the battery. On my other computer, I researched the virus and found a manual way to remove it, by doing regedit and deleting program files and such. So I put my battery back in my laptop and turned it on, and the little icons on my task bar never showed up. When I searched in regedit it never showed up as well as in program files. So, is it gone for good? Why did it disappear all of a sudden?
I never registered or bought the program like it prompted, so does that have something to do with it?
4 AnswersSecurity1 decade agoRiding horse in Christmas parade...need decoration/paint. Help?
Okay, me and my friend are riding her horses in our town Christmas parade. One is a palomino and the other is a dark bay. I want to try to get some paint (red & green, I hope the paint doesn't stain) but we don't have any place that sells it locally, and we don't want to order it online because it'll be expensive. Are there any alternatives that are SAFE for a horses coat, mane, and tail? Also, is there a way to make your own paint for them? Thanks.
13 AnswersHorses1 decade agoWhat is hay belly? How can you tell if a horse is bloated or just fat?
Okay, I think my horse might have hay belly, but what is it? His stomach has seemed to get lower to the ground or whatever. He has seemed to have gotten wider over just the past week, it gets bigger downward. I've had him for 1 month. Maybe he's eating too much? He's a 1300 lb Appy, so he's a big boy. He grazes in a large pasture for around 6-7 hours, and then gets hay during the night time (still in a pen with grass though). He just got wormed approximately one month ago. Also, how can you tell if a horse is bloated? Will they not be able to pass waste, and will they eat? I'm afraid he has gotten into some moldy hay in the pasture the cows have been eating. I haven't seen him eat any, he seems to stay away from it, but you never know.
3 AnswersHorses1 decade agoA few horse questions: Moldy hay, pellets, etc?
We have a large pasture and the guy that rents it for his cattle recently brought in moldy hay. He told us it was moldy 2 days after he brought it in, and I was afraid my horse ate some of it, cause I know it can kill them. I don't believe he has, he hasn't showed any signs of colicing, he's passing waste, eating good. But do horses know to stay away from hay that doesn't smell or taste right? I've heard they do, but I'm making sure. Also, I've started my horse on pellets (I just bought him) and every time he eats them, he seems like it gets stuck in his teeth or something or he's choking or something. He pins his ears back, kicks his back legs, and acts like he's yawning. What is this a sign of? He doesn't do this with oats or anything else. Also, what are some symptoms a horse is choking? Thanks in advance
6 AnswersHorses1 decade agoLots of horse questions..Please help relieve my worries!?
Okay, first off I just got my first horse 2 weeks ago, and I'm freaking out at every little thing that looks wrong with him. His back was sore the Monday of this week, so I couldn't ride him all week. He kept kicking out behind him and swishing his tail because he hurt, but after a few days he seemed to get better. Now he's doing it again. So can it relapse, a sore back? And don't horses swish their tails a whole bunch if something on them hurts? What do you think it is?
Also, I was feeding him last night, and he started licking the fence alot and sticking his tongue far out and opening his mouth in a weird sideways way. He wasn't yawning. Can horses choke? Was he choking?
He's also been stomping the ground (I think because of his back) but he's also been biting at his stomach some and scratching it. I know he has some bot fly eggs we got off his legs and there are a few he has on his stomach. So is he scratching or are these signs of colic? He also likes to roll around after be unsaddled, so is that a sign or is that safe and normal? Can they roll around if they don't have colic?
I've been around my friends horses for 3 years and ride hers alot. I'm just paranoid because I have MY OWN horse and I want him to be perfectly fine.
12 AnswersHorses1 decade agoWhat is my horse worth? Appaloosa gelding; Easy Jet bloodlines?
I purchased an appaloosa last week. He is 10, about 16.3 hands and weighs around 1300 lbs. His major bloodlines are:
Sire: Houston Jet
Grand Sire: Easy Jet (traces back to Three Bars)
Grand Dam: Moon E Rooz (daughter of Moon Lark)
Dam: Miss Cheeri Ohs
Grand Sire: Master Hand (TB)
Grand Dam: Miss Ohs
I'm not expecting mass amounts, I just want to know what my little guys bloodlines did for him. He was a racehorse when he was 2, but got taken off the track by the owners cause he was too small. Then about a year later shot up to 16 hands, lol. Used as an outrider at the racetrack
4 AnswersHorses1 decade agoMy horse won't saddle up; he kicks at his stomach..help?
Okay, I've had my Appaloosa gelding for one week now. He is 10 years old and his broke and everything. I've only ridden him 3 times, but when I tried to saddle him up yesterday, he started kicking out behind him and at his stomach and shaking his skin (like he's trying to get flies off) but he stops when I take everything off of him. He even does it with just the saddle pad on. Its like he knows whats coming. I'm thinking the saddle might be too small (its a size 14; he's around 16.3 hands and 1300 lbs) Do I need to measure his withers to find a better fit? I also think I didn't have the saddle far enough up on his neck and it was too far on his back. So I think maybe his back is sore. This is my first horse but I've ridden my friends plenty of times. I can saddle her horse just fine but apparently not my own! I just don't know whats wrong. I know apps can be great one day and moody the next, but he did a complete 360 with his mood. I don't want him hurting me or anyone else.
10 AnswersHorses1 decade agoCan you tell me anything about this bit...Long shank bit?
I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about a Long Shank Bit. My appy gelding is using this bit. I used to think it was a snaffle until I did more research. I don't know much about bits. Is it okay to switch my app to a snaffle since he's been using a long shank all his life? (he's 10)
here's a pic of what is looks like
11 AnswersHorses1 decade agoMy Appy Gelding doesn't seem to like his girth & bit...help?
I just got an Appaloosa gelding. He's 10 and he used to be a racehorse when he was 2 and he's been used as an outrider. He hasn't been ridden but about once in the past year. He does really well saddling up, but once you get to riding a while, he turns his head around and moves his mouth up and down where his girth his, almost like he's scratching. The girth is made out of almost a rubbery, but soft material and I think it might be irritating him. The owner also sold his headstall and bit with him because he's used to it, but he doesn't seem to like it much. After about an hour of riding (just walking mostly) he starting chewing on it and had saliva running down his chin and was more than happy to have it come off. So is all this from just not having been ridden in a year? Do I need to get a different girth? What kind is the most comfortable? (he can't use a solid bit, he uses a snaffle)
7 AnswersHorses1 decade agoMaking a cake w/ fondant...I need tips and help!?
OKay, for my birthday, I'm deciding to try to make my own cake just for fun. I've always wanted to make one of those awesome cakes like you see on Ace of Cakes on the Food Network, but I've never had any lessons and those people are professionals. :) But I've never attempted fondant or putting on cake or decorating or anything. So I'd like to know:
-Which fondant is easier/better, regular or marshmallow
-How do you work with fondant? (i.e. put onto a rounded cake)
-Is pound cake a good cake to work with, since its dense?
-What are some good icings I can decorate with?
I can probably get all the needed stuff at Micheals or Hobby Lobby, so just answer away!
5 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoHelp! I ride horses, but I can't help from bouncing!?
Okay, I ride horses with my friend. I don't have any of my own, so obviously I can't practice everyday. But when I run I sit up in the saddle so I don't bounce, but I still do. I hang on to the saddlehorn (I don't feel balanced enough to let go) so that probably doesn't help. My friend said I need to get into the groove with the horse, but I just need some help on figuring out HOW. Also, I need help finding balance so I can let go of the saddle horn.
6 AnswersHorse Racing1 decade agoBuying first horse...need to know what to look for?
I am going to buy my first horse soon, and I need to know what I should look out for, in case some person is trying to take advantage of selling me one that is on its last leg for a high price. Do I need to ask if its had any shots lately, or anything of that matter? I have riding experience and we have plenty of acres for the horse. So please just tell me what kind of things I should ask the horse owner before I buy it. Thanks!
4 AnswersOther - Pets1 decade agoAcne problems? Not severe, but its annoying!?
I have acne thats not severe, but its really annoying me! Its around my temples, chin, and forehead. I have used just about everything (Proactiv, Clearskin, Avon Products, currently using Proactiv Severe) but none have worked. I have even put facial masks on, but nothing. Let me use a metaphor here: Putting all this stuff on my face is doing just about as much good as putting on sunscreen in the winter. I need some of you to list products that have worked and that you have tried. Another problem of mine is that after about a week, the product I use is working, but after about 2 weeks, it stops working, like I'm immune to it. I also wash my face at night but in the morning its oily and the pimples are still there. Please help, its emabarrasing!
