  • Any way I can convince the police to get my car out early?

    Hi I got my car impounded for reckless driving in California and they put it on hold for 30 days and there's 5 days left on the hold. The problem is I havnt worked since cause I had no transportation but I have this really big job that I have in 2 days and I was wondering, is there any way I can talk to the lieutenant officer to help release it earlier? Cause I know they have the power to do that but the last time I tried to release it 20 days early he denied me. Do you guys think I can In any way talk with this officer to help me?

  • Will my car be OK sitting for a month unused?

    Hi I have a 2004 Nissan 350z that I got impounded for 30 days. I'm wondering if I'm looking at any damages mechanically or cosmetically. It's all black on black and black leather interior. Im I looking at any possible damage to the motor/battery or maybe paint fade? It sits on concrete and is sitting under the sun everyday. Any info on what possibly could happen will be great. I'm just worried cause I love this car and it's already going to cost me over 1g to get out (putting me flat broke). Thank you
