it was suggested today that australia should consider introducing elements of sharia law this would allow more islamic finance to be done in australia as more muslims could live happily in australia. the things asked to be changed include marriage and divorce laws to be introduced.

my view is that this would create a dualistic society and really i see it as a great disrespect to even ask. australia already has its culture and even though i have largely supported muslims during the iraq war and other events i dont agree that any countr should change its laws around another religion. if religion is more important to you than the laws of the country then you really dont belong in that country and should be in a country lead by religion not law. Australia like all western democratic coutnries are ruled by law not religion and even the catholic church has no power in australia except to sack priests and nothing more.

I heard some news reports in response to the Fukushima nuclear meltdowns stating that exposure to nuclear radiation can in some cases be a healthy thing. This was then justified as it is sometimes used to cure cancers.

Honestly as a student of neucleonics from my limited knowledge i find this incredibly ridiculous comment to make. Firstly radiation has at the core the property of being the infection of strange atomic structures into the body with a variety of affects ranging from the shutdown and destruction of certain cellular activity such as production of red blood cells completely to the altering of human tissue and cellular structure via the introduction of potent free radicals into the system. This is very simula to poisoning except it is much more insipid an seems deep into the very cells that even poisons attack.

As a comparison poisons attack tissues, acids burn and attack outside tissue such as skin, radiation attacks the cells that make up all those tissues. And it is very much an ongoing attack.

Furthermore the radiation is known to react with exposure to varied conditions in different ways. Some radiactive material has a half life of 1000 years whilst other material is only raioactive for a week. Worst of all some material has enough mass and weight to remain lodged in garden beds and rivers and on soils and spew out radiation for the next 1000 years.

So how is it possibly healthy ??? anyone ??

We know that lightning will strike in certain regions of earth regularly and we also know how to induce lightning in weather. So would it be possible to harness this power. For example set up high top receptor points to receive lighting strikes and this electricity is then stepped down via massive transformers and fed into the grid at thousands of voltage bursts ? Would this hypothesis be possible ? Ideas ?

i was only one degree from one of the named superstars who died from a drug overdose.. and can assure you.. they never took drugs in their lives !!! the media made out he was a regular drggie.. he wasnt..

same with michael. he was no addict.. the film of him performing the day prior now proves this..

his doctor and the ones who precscribed him the drugs.. need ot be thoroughly investigated now and exposed ot the world.. for the whole scandal it is.. all their links and connections should be exposed..

coz in my view.. michael was doomed when he purchased the beatles catalouge for $47mill and it is now worth nearly $2bill.. i think someone had his name out since then.. and they finally suceeded ..

The Sunday Program on Chanel 7 interviewed her this morning and actually state that the word WOG was no longer a racist term.. in other words it is OK to just call certain European migrants WOGS !!

I just heard the Chk Chk Boom girl now plans to be a singer and she even told the Sunday program how she hasnt even seen the songs because clearly she has no musical skills nor has she ever sung before.. she is just a typical media plant.. she'll be paid 1% of earnings and end up broke again.. meanwhile she will have LEGITIMISED the word "WOG" !!

The word "wog" in Australian slang translates as something you spit from your throat.. somehow European migrants have been branded as "wogs".

10 minutes ago on Channel 7's Sunday show they stated that the word "wog" is no longer a racist term.. as a migrant i find this HIGHLY disturbing. Especially since I can go to prison for insulting a homosexual, a jew or a black man by using any number of foul and racist terms against those groups, words such a n*GG*r I would never utter nor would anyone these days.. YET it's STILL OK to call a European migrant to Australia.. a WOG !!

my mum was making pasta in italian restaurants before Australians knew what olive oil was.. before australians even ate tomatos which Italians brought ot Australia.. along with most of the other fruit and vegetables you now have on the farms.. they came from EUROPE !! wogland !! Australia's entire urban cutlure came from Europe infact.. so did America's culture.. America was after all named after an Italian called Amerigo Vespucci and both Australia and USA were DISCOVERED by Europeans but colonised by England.. but still..
