How to recover mac docx file?
At around 1:20PM, i wrote up a report, and I only needed to add one graphic into it to complete it. So I saved and closed all my documents and windows, turned off the computer, and went to lunch. The docx was saved on a USB drive that I left plugged into my computer, which i bought less than two weeks ago.
I came back an hour later, turned on the computer, and opened the docx and a small window popped up with a list and said "convert file from."
so i made a copy of my docx, and tried opening with all the options available. the ones that did open were blank.
there is no tmp file, no autosave.
how do i recover this document, and what ever happened??

1 AnswerCameras9 years agoCan i use my old passport from Korea even if I just got my citizenship?
I would like to travel to Korea within the next few weeks, and I just got my US citizenship a couple days ago. I realize it takes 4-6 weeks to get a new passport. Is it alright to use my old passport (which I got last month, while I was a permanent resident of US, and issued by South Korea) to travel next week out of the country?
4 AnswersPacking & Preparation9 years agoHow to renew a passport?
I am not a US citizen; i am a permanent resident.
My passport was issued from Korea.
It was issued when I was 12. I am now 18.
it expired 06/2011. I need it by march 26 2012.

1 AnswerPainting10 years agoSpanish to English translation please: "Como "uso" el autor al resto de los familiares mencionados?"?
"Como "uso" el autor al resto de los familiares mencionados?"
is the phrase. literally translated, i think it goes to how did the author use at remainder of the familiar mentions, which doesnt really fit into the context. i am trying to answer a question about a play, in which the mother treats the son with 'respect'...
thanks!

4 AnswersSkin Conditions10 years agoMy Korean name is legally separated but I always use the two parts put together.. is this a problem?
My real name is Eun hye Park. (Korean names are almost always three parts.) when i immigrated to america, our family wrote it that way, but as it was getting processed, the hye part turned into a middle name. This happens for many koreans who immigrate. so legally, my name shows up as Eun Park. but I always wrote my name as Eunhye Park on all my other things like college, SATs, and all the other forms. does that matter? im assuming that it doesnt have that much of an impact, and people assume that theres something with the foreigness, since i havent had a problem until now, but just wondering? anyone know for sure? thanks

2 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoWhere is a good place to travel to that has clean water, clean air, not a lot of people, & cheap to travel to?
Im interested in traveling at a low cost to a country where i can really breathe clean air. I want to be near a body of water [lake or river] & lots of nature, so that would be somewhere far from the cities. Im not looking for human-organized areas with a fivestar hotel 5 minutes away, and highways built. im looking for somewhere little touched by humans, and where i can really relax and do nothing. no attractions or amenities.. just a small little area, not famous.. thanks in advance

I assumed it was my native language, but when i think about it, it seems like its asking me for the language that I am most proficient in. I was born in Korea, but I speak English and Korean at around the same level of proficiency. This is an application for a summer program at a college.. is it asking for my native or most proficient language? thanks

I broke my old phones screen, so i bought a new phone from ebay. I want to transfer my contacts, but dont want to pay 10 dollars to verizon (last time i went, they did it for free, but apparently there is a 10 dollar charge now) .. so manually loading my new phone with the numbers isnt going to work. I am going to try to download Backup Assistant without using the screen, but it says i will use 1 mb of data. I have no data plans. How much will it cost? thanks
