My computer recently started to take more than one try to boot up. It would shut down after the BIOS screen or the Windows loading screen. At first it was alright, but now it shuts down on boot every time. I replaced the PSU with no luck. I disconnected the HDD and it has the same problem. Wires are all in the right place and connected securely. Any idea what the problem is?

I have a 360 Arcade that I never use, any creative crap or software mods i can do with it?

The power went out for a second, now all the lights on my router (WRT160N V3) are blinking and I get no connection. I tried unplugging the power to it and plugging it back in, didn't help.

Had a virus that redirected everything off IE to their fraud site, now that I've taken care of the virus, IE can't open any pages. How do I fix this?

Don't say anything about using Firefox or whatever, it isn't my computer.

Ran TDSSKiller, found and deleted 2 rootkits

I run MBAM and Spybot, they find nothing, but after restart, it's back.

I can run RKill to terminate the process but it still happens every time I restart.

I installed Fedora the other day, using an extra partition I had nothing on. Now, when I turn on my computer, GRUB pops up, which is to be expected, but it only has options of Fedora and 'Other'. I'm assuming 'Other' is my Win7 partition, but when I try and boot from it, it says "Error: BOOTMGR missing, press ctrl alt delete to restart". I know the files from the partition are still there, because I can mount the drive in Fedora and access them. I've tried using the Win7 installation disk to repair, but it can't find anything wrong. I've also tried the bootrec /fixboot command in the command prompt, though it says the operation was completed successfully, nothing changed. Any ideas?

Having trouble finding the empirical formula for MgO. I have .003 mol. of Oxygen and .001875 mol. of Magnesium. Im having trouble figuring out what number I need to multiply by to get whole numbers for both of them. It looks to be pretty large because closest to 1 I can get with .001875 is .001875 * 533 = ~ 1

yea so im looking for a metal song that the intro is to the tune of "do your ears hand low do they wobble to and fro"...etc. they don't actually say the words its just the tune, i think its a newer song.

Today I booted up my laptop and saw that there are no icons on my desktop. Also, I can't click and drag. I look in my desktop folder and all my icons are there, and my taskbar and everything else works. I can't think of anything that would cause this except maybe the Windows Update I installed yesterday. I tried to install Gentoo but it didn't help. Any suggestions?
