I have a Samsung Galazy S Blaze and the screen is no longer working. The screen is black, no response from the touch screen either. I have a USB from my phone to the PC but the phone's folder doesn't pop up on the My Computer folder. I know you typically need to choose "attach as external storage" on the phone in order to connect to your PC as an external drive but I can't use the screen at all.

I can answer phone calls from a headset by using the headset's answer button but that's pretty much it.

Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

Short story: The light on the motherboard turns on. Power supply is good. Nothing else turns on. PC doesn't start up. What are the steps I should take to figure out the problem?

Long story: The PC was running fine until I connected my portable heater to the surge protector/batterybackup. The PC, the monitor and external hard drive were connected to the surge protector where it says "surge+battery". After I hooked up my heater I heard a few beeps coming from the surge protector so I disconnected it. When I looked up, I noticed the monitor was off and everything connected to the surge protector. I turned off the surge protector too, reset it and then tried turning on the PC. I heard it trying to start up but the PC wouldn't boot. I've had a boot up issue before and figured out it was the power supply that blew out so I thought this might have been the same problem. I opened up the casing and saw that after pressing the power button on the computer, only the light on the motherboard turns on.

Did I blow out a connection to the motherboard? I tried installing a new PSU but that didn't get me anywhere either. Any troubleshooting advice is welcome!

I recently broke up with my long-term boyfriend of 6 years. We have been together off and on but the last couple of times were because I broke up with him. He is my first long-term boyfriend and the longest relationship I've had before him was for a month and a half. He tells me that I am the love of his life and that he needs me, and can't live without me.

The day we broke up I was very upset because I usually stop by his house before I go to work but that morning he didn't answer his phone. I figured he was just mad at me because I accidentally ignored his call at 2 in the morning when I was sleeping. I texted him that I was sorry and kept calling him but he never answered. I get to his house and his car isn't in the drive way. I called his brother and he doesn't know where he is either. I figure the last time I talked to him was when he was at his friends house so I drove to his friends house and his car wasn't there. I call him again while I was trying looking for him at the gym and I still don't see him or his car. By this time I'm crying and worried about him thinking horrible thoughts that maybe he got arrested, maybe he got mugged, maybe he got in a car accident. I decided to go back to his friends house to ask him if he's seen him at all today but I try to calm myself down before ringing his doorbell. All of the sudden, I see him and his friend drive down the street. I'm so angry yet relieved to see him and I say "Why can't you answer your phone?" He says "Uh, I've been at the mall, I didn't have reception." and gives me the meanest face. I'm so upset at the fact that he didn't apologize or show any sincerity towards my feelings so I threw my phone on the passenger side floor and drove off. I hear my phone ringing over and over as I drove to work but I didn't want to search for it while I was still driving. By the time I get to work and check my phone, I have 2 text messages and 1 voice mail. They both consist of him saying "what the f is your problem?" "I'm not gonna let you ruin my day off" "petty b**ch" and apparently he was at the mall buying gloves for "my sorry ***".

He has a temper problem and usually I'm okay with him after he apologizes for what he said but this time I don't know why but I just can't. I'm not sure whether it's because I was already so upset and him yelling at me just pushed me over the edge, or maybe I'm just tired of being talked down to so much, I just can't forgive him. And I honestly don't think his attitude will ever change.

Am I being selfish for not giving him another chance after being with him for 6 years? Did I make the right decision by breaking up with him? Would other women forgive their boyfriends/husbands if they talked to them that way? He says he willing to change for me, but am I right for wanting him to change? I've never felt like a person should change who they are just because someone else thinks they should but is it okay if that change is for the better?

I want to keep my rabbit in my room so that she can run around and get the exercise she needs. Also, to get her away from the laundry room which makes her eyes water since all she smells is detergent. I want her to be able to groom herself which she can't do in her cage. I want to be able to clean up after her easier. She's litter trained so she only goes in her litter box.

I gave them all these reasons and still got a "no". I've had her cage free before when I live with my sister and I had no problems. I can't think of any other reasons to give them to change their minds. My parents are very stubborn. Can anyone help me figure out a way to convince them that cage-free is for the better? Thanks.

I just started ballet in my dance class and my hips have been aching all day. Everyone else has complained about sore calves or legs but none of those hurt me, only my hips. I only weigh 105 but I'm pretty bottom heavy and curvy. Could my hips be too wide for ballet? Maybe it's my posture? or is it something I can't help?

It hurts to walk up and down stairs and standing for too long make my hips very sore. Even laying down flat on my back hurts.

I was born with dislocated hips when I was a baby, but while playing tennis, swimming and running my hips never hurt before, it's only after I started ballet.

Any ideas and suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

I need some ideas for a lady gaga Halloween costume. I don't want to buy one online. I'm planning on making it myself but everything I like seems to be really really complicated to make. I was thinking the leather jacket outfit in the Lovegame music video, but that's all I've really thought about replicating. Anyone else have ideas?

I'm having a hard time trying to stay under 1000 calories a day. I was recommended this since I'm only 4 foot 10. I can usually make some 300 calorie meals but I can't help but want to snack on something while I watch tv or browse on the internet. I only have 100 calories left for snacks and even a small bag of pretzels is more than that. NO FRUITS PLEASE. I don't crave sweet snacks.

I forgot to mention it's a Paul Mitchell Ion Style Iron.

I've done a lot of research on different flat iron's but not many websites site whether their product is made with pure ceramic plates. I know for a fact that FHI Runway and PAUL MITCHELL use 100% ceramic plates but I'd really like to know if there are any other brands I should look into. CHI's are only ceramic COATED. I'm not interested in them, I've used it before and it makes the hair around my face get split ends and I do use hair product for heat defense.

If you have any recommendation for a flat iron with variable temperature, 100% ceramic and at least 2 year warranty, please comment!!
