  • Can I travel with two laptops?

    Hello there,

I'm an indian, and I'm studying in NYC. I brought my personal laptop with me when I was coming to USA. And I bought another laptop ($200) in USA for my sis. Now I'm going back to india for some time and I'll be carrying two laptops (one I brought from india, and one I bought here in NYC). So will be there any kind of custom duty fees or any kind of problem with these two laptops?

    Thank you!!

  • What should I do?

Hello friends, today i am going to ask a very different kind of question. I am an indian, and I have spent my whole life in india. But now, I have to go New York for my higher education. I am going to attend New York University and I really did lots of hard work to get into this university. I live in a very small town where few people use to speak english. I had two option, one was NYU what I have selected and second was IIT, a very famous indian university for engineering. But this is not my question! My english is weak, and I think it's not good enough to live in NYC. But sometimes I feel it's not true, I am so nervous because I don't know anything about USA culture! In fact I don't know about their food :( I am really worry, I have tried a lot to improve my english and I can feel that my english is much better now but I don't think that it's enough. I am a boy who never care about people, but now I am caring about people that what will happen if I fail to speak english, what will happen if I fail to understand their culture. I belong to a small town, i am the first person who is going to US for UG, I chose NYU over IIT just because of research opportunity, I want to become an inventor and I am majoring in computer science and I want to make my career in robotics, but this time I have forgotten every thing and I am just thinking about my future classmates and roommate, and I know, this is not good, but I can't stop myself. Please help me,

  • Harvard online education?

    Hi,

I am going to attend University of California from July. I have chose computer science (BS) as my major and I really love it. But I am also planning to do MBA after MS in computer science. I know Harvard is best in world and my friend told to me that HBS is now offering an online distance education. Is there any business related courses like accountancy or anything else in which I can enroll myself to prepare a good foundation. If you know anything about HBS or HBX then please help me.

    Thank you.

  • Do Engineering colleges consider SAT 2 more than SAT 1?

I got 800/800 in Math level 2, 780/800 in Physics, 720/800 in chemistry. But unfortunately, I got low marks in sat english. Therefore, my question is that, do colleges consider SAT 2 more than SAT 1. And other thing is that, are these scores are good? Or should I have to retake chem and physics? And if you have any colleges suggestion for me, then please suggest me some colleges!

    Thank you.
