I have a 2002 F150 Harley Crew Cab. When I turn the steering wheel it spins freely like its not connected. If i spin it with a finger and remove my hand from the wheel, it just spins on its own like one of those toy cars. The front wheels turn normally, just that the steering can be turned with virtually no effort with my pinky. The mechanic replaced the power steering pump with no difference. Other than how freely the steering wheel spins, the truck seems to handle normally.

I have seen about 30 questions for these guys, i mean, i have seen more questions about them today, than guys asking what it takes to import a nissan skyline from Japan. Seems like their publicity department is HARD at work today creating all these profiles and asking questions...

I thought maybe the battery terminals or cables, but if i put another battery in the car, it will start right up. Since the battery seems to have a bit of a charge with, what is the problem? Is it maybe a cell went bad, and there is not enough power to crank the engine, but enough for radio, horn, lights, etc? It is one of the old style batteries (not a non maint battery). Here in the Dominican Republic most cars have them. It is a 2005 model year car.
