2 AnswersDogs7 years agoBoxer Dog Seperation Anxiety?
My boxer is having really bad seperation anxiety. When left alone at all he chews all around him and barks all day. He is very well trained and does many tricks etc on demand. I just dont know what to do with him i feel so bad for him when im gone. He has now started to get seperation anxiety when at home with only one of us. My partner is at home with him this week while im working and he is equally close to both of us however my partner is boss he always listens to him. However he wont eat this week for my partner but the minute i come home he eats his food. Im not sure if it would be the same if my partner was gone and i was at home with him. He is just so attached to us and gets so anxious any tine we go to leave house or leave him at all. He sat looking out the window crying 2 weeks ago and i was only gone for about an hour. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. He is such a good dog, this is the only problem we have had since we got him. Hes 15 months old now
2 AnswersDogs7 years agoProblem with head lice and 4 yr old?
My little one has had headlice for the past few weeks. I treated her the minute i seen them with Hedrin Once which was very expensive. I also combed out her hair afterwards. They were very bad in her hair. Shes blonde and i brush her hair every day so i noticed them straight away so i dont understand why there were so many. Ive also no idea how she got them as i didnt catch them and her bed clothes are changed every week and im always hoovering. The problem is since that treatment she has them again and wasnt really in contact with anyone. Someone told me that she could be immune to headlice treatments. Ive also been told to give her vitamin b. Im going to try tea tree oil tomorrow. Im just at my wits end now with them she is starting school next week and i need to get rid of them, i feel as though ive tried everything and ive no idea how she keeps getting them. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance :)
4 AnswersOther - Diseases8 years agoBoxer dog swollen right lip!! HELP?
Ive just noticed my dogs right lip is really swollen and Im really worried. Im probably overreacting but its a sunday and there is no vets open today. I think he may have eaten a wasp or got stung in the mouth? My partner just checked his lip and it looked like a sting in his lip (kind of like a tiny splinter). Anyone have any similar experiences and what can i do, Im just afraid he could have a bad allergic reaction and it could affect his airway. If anyone can help please do?
3 AnswersDogs8 years agoAdvice for 4 year old slow to dress herself and finds it difficult?
My little one is starting school in september. For the past 2 years nearly i have been really encouraging her to dress by herself for bedtime and in the mornings. However she is very slow to dress and really reluctant to do so. I have showed her countless times how to dress and also if the clothes are inside out i have shown her how to turn them the right way round but she finds it incredibly difficult. I always leave the clothes out for her and give her time but when she was in preschool i just didnt have the time in the mornings to be waiting around for her to get dressed as it takes so long. This year will be even busier again as I will be starting college at an earlier time (i went back to college to do nursing) and her dad has also gone back to college as a mature student. Between getting lunches ready the night before and getting organised in the morning, it would be great if she was able to get dressed at night and in the mornings. She is a great girl for going to bed alone and when she is told its bedtime there's no fuss. She is developing well at other things and she was a dream to potty train. Just this one aspect is slightly concerning me as my friends child has been dressing herself in no time since the age of about 2 1/2 or 3. I know children develop at different ages. I would just be greatful for any tips on getting her to dress without a fuss and to do it quickly. Thanks

I'm on the patch and deep vein thrombosis is one of the side effects of most contraceptives so I'm worrying it could be a clot. Its doesnt feel like a leg cramp and its not really painful it's just a dull pain and making my lower leg fell really stiff. Anyone who experienced a clot or similar pain could you please answer this question? Thanks
