1 AnswerToys8 years agosingle parent relationship help?
I've been a single mother now for 3 years after my ex husband left and hasnt wanted to see his son since. i recently met a really really nice guy and we just clicked right away, my problem is im not sure how things would work long term. he has 2 children from a previous relationship who he sees twice in a week, tuesday and thursday, straight from work till 9pm (although i personally think children should be in bed way before this) then every weekend early hours saturday morning until 7pm sunday. just leaves me wondering when we will get to see each other, at the moment he comes monday, wednesday and friday after work when my son is in bed, but doesnt give us time to go out, spend proper time together and have proper dates. I think the fact he wants to see his children so often is very commendable but not sure he has time for a relationship. is having a 3 night a week, no dates and no weekends alone be something i could get used to and if i did would a relationship like that ever work? if for instance i got a sitter we still couldnt go anywhere or do anything unless we took his kids. its hard and i dont want to waste his or my time as he is a really caring and decent guy. at the moment im lucky to go out twice a year so its not like i want to go out every weekend, but do i want to give up every weekend or spend every weekend alone?

Moving to Cornwall advice?
I recently came back from holiday in Cornwall (almost 400 miles away) and this might sound off but I felt like I was home we I was there. I've been all over the country but that's the first time I felt like my heart belonged there. I'm after some advice. I'm a single mum with 1 child and am unsure if it would be feasible to move there. For a start I know housing costs more and the cost of living is higher, I do hope to start work when my son starts full time school but till then I'll have to rely on housing benefit. I just want my son to have the best life and I really believe he would have a better life there then where I am currently. I just don't know where to start, can anyone give me tips/advice? Has anyone moved from somewhere else to Cornwall or moved a long distance. Could I afford to move, is housing benefit higher there? I'm not a benefit bum like I say I do want to work but at the moment I'm looking after my young son.

1 AnswerOther - United Kingdom9 years agocomplaint question (mobile phone)?
My husband recently bought a htc wildfire pay as you go mobile on the three network, a few days after purchasing it started having problems. he rang the three store and they said they would replace the handset on a certain date if he went into the store, on said date he took the phone to be replaced only to be told they couldnt replace it till a different date, he came home then on the alternative date he went back again to replace his phone to be told the same thing once again (to go back another day). in the mean time he is left paying a contract on a phone he cannot use (bought a pay as u go phone and put in his contract sim) does he need to complain to three or to htc as the phone which is faulty is an htc phone?? also any advice on how to word a letter etc would be greatly appreciated.

i have an 18 month old son, we wanted to take him out for the day this weekend and someone suggested twinlakes, has anyone ever been before and do you think it is suitable for an 18 month old, if not could u suggest places that may be suitable, i live on the east cost of england (near hull) and would be prepared to travel for up to 3 hrs to get to wherever is age relevent for my son. we did concider flamingo land but a few people said he may be too young for that, i was thinking more for the animals then the rides. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

4 AnswersPlayStation1 decade ago15 month old sleep problems?
My 15 month old son has suddenly started having sleep issues. he goes to bed about 7ish then wakes up at 2 and wont go back to sleep for a few hrs then at 7am. b4 this he used to sleep through from 7pm - 9am so not sure where the sudden middle of the night awakeness has come from. today for example he was up at 7 then was crying for his bed by half 8 and was asleep till 10 then woke up then by 12 wanted his bed again and woke at 3. he used to only have 1 2 hr nap in the day, why has his sleep pattern suddenly changed so dramatically and how can i go about trying to reduc his sleeping during the day and stop his 2am wake ups? ive tried waking him b4 i go to bed for a bottle but no luck and keeping him up during the day when hes screaming for his bed is impossible, HELP!
