I have bought 3 CF cards one after the other as they keep breaking, the same problem each time, I keep getting an error which says card needs formatting to use, then when i try to format it, it won't!

I don't know what keeps causing the issue.

The third card, I put it into my camera last night to format it, but then I thought no I'll do it on my mac in the morning, so when I came to format it now, it doesn't work. What is going on!

I have a 5d mk ii 70-200 F4L and a 50 1.8 thinking of buying the 24-105 or the 17-40. The 17-40 would fit in with my other lenses well, but then again it would be nice to have a standard zoom rather than changing lenses all the time. + I am going to Swaziland next year.

Would the 17-40 be a good edition, or would I be better saving up a little more to get the 24-105?

I am going to swaziland in July so maybe a lens that can do decent wide and ok zoom could be handy, I wouldn't have to keep changing lenses then.

Hello! I am thinking about getting a bank account to keep my money secure in. Rather than just keeping it in my bedroom, I'm a 16 year old student and a photographer, i do a few weddings every so often for around £100 each time. I want to be able to manage my bank account via online and mobile. Also want to be able to withdraw it, using a debit card, so for my circumstances, does this plan seem like a good one?

Hi everyone! I just sold my canon kit lens 18-55 as i now have a 7d and want a better lens. I am looking at getting the 16-35mm L lens, however, I'm confused over the idea of this being a different focal length on my crop body? Does this apply to my old 18-55 lens too?

I currently have 3 Canon lenses (18-55, 70-300 and 28-90) and 2 Nikon lenses (18-55 and 70-300), I am thinking about upgrading from my 500D to something with better image quality and a faster shooting rate, as I do a lot of sports photography, along with portraits, landscapes, macro and high ISO work, e.g. concerts, awards ceremonies. In my price range are the 60D and the D90, which one should I go for, the 60D is newer, yet I hear the D90 still has better image quality?

I'm 15 and have a Canon 500D, I would say I am at an intermediate level, I want to upgrade from my 500D to something more pro, with good image quality and features, trying to stay below the £550 range, looking at buying on eBay.

What would you recommend I upgrade to?

Just bought a Palit GeForce GT520 2048mb DDR3 Graphics card for my PC.

After I put the card in the PC I obviously had to install the drivers so the device would work properly.

So I inserted the disk with the drivers on into my PC and all seemed to be going well.

However after going through some of the installation process I get this error:

Nvidia Installer Failed and it gives a list of all the things which haven't installed which are:

Nvidia Update, Physx system software, 3D vision controller driver, Graphics driver and 3D vision driver.

It does this everytime I try to install the drivers.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

My PC has 3GB ram. Pentium 4 3.20GHZ dual core processor

Mainboard: AGP PCI IMB USB i2c/SMBus

OS: Windows 7

Installing a new PALIT GEFORCE GT520 2048MB DDR3 graphics card into pc, I have installed the actual card, when I turned the pc on to install the drivers I keep getting an error message from the NVIDIA Graphics Driver Version 285.66 which says it has failed, and it gives a list of all the different things which have failed to install. Any idea why it is doing this? Or what I can do to fix this?

The computer can't seem to find the card, it knows its there but its like it can't use it. I clicked uninstall after a couple times of this happening ( when it did recognise the card ) in a bid that taking the device out and putting it in again would fix the issue.
