  • any ideas of sound effects/sounds that are similar to (English) syllables?

    like,,, sounds that would be good to reproduce human speech without actually using human speech. a microwave running for "mm", waves crashing for "sh", etc. think like onomatopoeia, but kind of backwards. combinations of sounds (fl, tw, im) in addition to just regular vowels and consonants appreciated! don't need sounds that aren't used in English (rolling r's, etc)
