  • Buying independent film?? Samuel de Mango?

    In 2004 or so I saw an awesome independent film called "Samuel de mango" at a film festival in memphis, an International film festival.

    This movie is awesome. According to the imdb.com page, it was made in 2005 by Everett Aponte from Puerto Rico. The website cannot be found and I find no trace of a really good movie.

    Anybody know where I might find a website that sells or hosts independent or short films?

    Specifically, if anyone knows about this movie, I would be grateful.

  • Do you remember this cartoon character (anime?)?

    I have this memory of a cartoon character, probably an anime. It likely played in the US in the late 90's early 2000's. I remember a cartoon panda I think who was emperor or king. He was not the main character, but I remember he only said one thing, "Ptooey. Patooey Ptooie Patoooey." In a sort of jolly/dumb sounding voice. Anyone know?

    I can't sleep at night for knowing what the heck this is, in my brain. He haunts my dreams...
