Butterfly

My fiancé & I have different views on a few things, we've been together for 5 years now, he proposed to me in december 2009, to this day no one knows that we're engaged. We both agreed that night to keep things to ourselves until we settle on a fix date because we were afraid that people would keep asking us as they've been doing anyway. So we have settled on december 2011 since June, we've been doing a little planning here & there, we already book photo/dj/video, getting ready to sign a contrat with our venue for ceremony and reception and I'm super EXCITED and ready to tell my family and friends but FH thinks we still need to wait, I'm starting to really get tired of it, he's family had a long talk about us recently bkoz they think we should get married bkoz we've been together for so long and they're believe that we might be living in sin and don't want us to (we're christian), blah blah blah, I found out during that conversation he still didn't bother to tell them that we're engaged. How do I address this with him, idk if it's a guy thing but I'm starting to feel unappreciated. I seriously feel that something is wrong with that, I feel like I'm the only one excited about this, maybe TOO excited or over-reacting. Please give me your input, all opinions welcome. what's the big difference between the two?

I've recently made a decision to be celibate, and fortunately my BF was very opened about it and agree to not seduce me in a way at all. It's not him that i'm worried about, it's myself, I do think about sex a lot but I also know that's it's not right based on what i've read in the Bible, God's intention for sex. Please help me. How do I stop, I tend to even please myself.
