  • Why hasn't Best Buy Called?

I went in for my first interview for Sales Associate at best buy last Wednesday. They said I could probably expect a call the following Tuesday because that was when the manager would be available to call people back. It is tuesday and the store is closed and I didn't get a call. Should I be concerned? Could they still call tomorrow?

  • MacBook pro vs. iMac for fcp?

I heard Final Cut Pro X is coming out and I was thinking of swigging to Mac. I am wondering whether to buy an iMac (hopefully a new version if released soon) or a 15' MacBook pro. What are the differences in terms of speed of editing? I can't stand when the playback lags or it is slow, so I'm wondering if I will be happy with a MacBook pro. How much faster is the iMac? What is the life compared to a leading pc in terms of speed and performance? Any information is greatly appreciated!

  • Movie Editing: Vaio Laptop or MacBook Pro?

I'm probably getting a laptop. Currently I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 10 production suite. I use a pc, obviously, because you can't run it on a Mac. If I get a MacBook, I would want to take advantage of it and use it for editing. Maybe after effects on Mac and then to Vegas for editing? I don't know if that's a good idea, can after effects render in avi if on a Mac? What should I do?
