So im following the immunostaining protocol and have blocked my specimen with goat serum and tween.

can i dilute my antibodies just in PBS. will that still work since ive already blocked my specimen. will i still get good staining - or am igoing to have to do this protocol alll over again

I have come off the combined pill because it gave me high blood pressure and have been off it for 2 months now and haven t had a period for 2 months also (no I am not pregnant)

Just been to my docs to collect a progesterone only pill to start.

Do I wait for my period to start this new pill - although it looks like it s never coming

Or can I start the pill now and continue as normal. This pill stops periods altogether apparently so don t know what to do.

Me and this guy have been seeing each other for near 4 months now. We haven t had a "define the relationship" conversation yet and I feel like I need to because I keep hearing gossip about him sleeping around but have no facts, just gossip. I want to be exclusive but I am a very shy person and bringing this up will not be easy. How do we have the DTR conversation without it being awkward/ embarrassing. What if he wants casual - then I will be upset and wish I never asked. Ahhhhhh what do I do, I really like him....

Thing is that soooooo is not me but I have no excuse since I did kiss someone else, but not he wont speak to me. I've already explained that that is not my usual behaviour but since he doesn't know me, he thinks I am a straight up player.

I want to know where I stand bc I do really like him and technically I didn't do anything wrong since we weren't actually dating. my actions make me mad but I don't know what to do now helpppppppp.

I have been given some standard 'protein concentration in the blood' values to create a standard calibration curve from.

I have done this and created the line of best fit in which I can work out the unknown values using the trend line equation and get the associated protein concentration from.

Thing is, I have been given unknown values from the blood and urine.

I have worked out the unknown blood concentrations but surely I cant work out urine concentrations from a blood calibration curve.

I have been given no extra data so how do I work out urine concs?????

Going on a date, meeting this guy.

I know I will be the first to get there bc I finish uni earlier than him but I have no time to go back home or back anywhere so I'm gone be sat in this bar by myself for maybe 10mins.

I'm not bothered about that, I'm just worried that I'll look awkward bc I won't have anything to do or ....

I'm currently at uni, so living away from home.

At home, there is this guy that really really genuinely likes me and he has told me that when I come back in vacation weeks, he wants to meet up with me, go for a meal and "see where it goes from there", but I don't really like this guy back in the way he does.

At uni, I am sleeping with a guy who I really really like. He is my first so everything I've done with him is 'special' to me, but I have yet to establish how this guy feels about me. In a weird situation with him bc I don't know where I stand. He knows everything is a big deal to me so it would be cruel to me if he is just stringing me along, but I don't reckon he is. A< a little confused tho and too scared/ embarrassed to ask bc I don't wanna come across as clingy.

But what do I do about these two guys. I cant really tell the home guy about me sleeping with another guy bc that would hurt his feelings and he is best mates with all my mates so id be scared to lose them or scared of what he might say.

And I don't wan tell uni guy about home guy bc then he might think that I'm not interested in him and I'm scared of him thinking that if I go home he might think I will sleep with this home guy - although that is not the case but I cant stop what he thinks.
