I have been around boats most of my life. My dad was a commercial fisherman and I began sailing with him the summer of 1962. Since then I have sailed as master, mate, and able seaman on commercial fishing vessels, research vessels, and oil spill response vessels. In 1992 I became involved in maritime education and have taught USCG approved courses in seamanship, sea survival, navigation, and merchant marine license training. Currently I reside in Portland, Oregon where I operate a USCG approved training center with approved courses for Able Seaman, Celestial Navigation, OUPV, and Master 25 thru 200 tons. I get emails sent from my email account that I did not send?
I have a business website hosted by yahoo and use the associated business email address. For the past few months I have been receiving spam emails that appear to be from my own email account, but that I never sent. Here is what the expanded header looks like:

I am looking for an explaination of how this is done and what, if anything, can I do to correct the problem.
Thanks in advance for your help.

2 AnswersAbuse and Spam1 decade agoAre you an out of work mariner with an Able Seaman card?
If you hold a merchant mariner's document as Able Seaman and are currently out of work I would like to hear from you. I am interested in how long you have been out of work and/or what kind of maritime employment you are looking for. Thanks for your time.

I am a novice checkers player and am looking for a good opening move. Currently I open by attempting to claim control of the center of the board, but I would like to hear from some more experienced players.
