is 18 months old to soon for a twin bed?
my 18 month old daughter is not crawling out her crib yet, but i just feel like she is ready. We went to the lake a week ago and she HAD to to sleep in a bunk bed because there was no room for play pen(that i planned for her to sleep in) and she did just fine the first night she stayed awake playing with her sister but then the next nights she went to sleep really easy and never woke up well she did at her regular time. never had any problems so i guess i now that she can do it. so when we got home she went back into her crib but, they miss sharing a room together like they did at the lake. so it's okay if she goes in a the bottom bunk with a safety rail right?

1 AnswerNewborn & Baby9 years agoWhat would you do about this VAN?
HI there so my and husband just recently bought a 2008 dodge grand caravan and we have been having problems with it since we got it. in the 5 months that we have owned it it has been in the shop 6 times and it is currently in the shop awaiting on a part to come in so i am driving a loner car. know we only have one vehicle being the van (my husband truck is a farm truck and because of the way it's used and amount of dirt and tools in it we don't use it as family truck and we also don't pay for it the farm or the bussness does) so what i want to do is to get a family car that he or i can use when the situation comes up and it does very often were i want to go to the city for things but taking a van that doesn't always want to work seems kinda scary to me and driving in the city in a car is much easier than a van and cars are way better on gas than the van. is this a bad idea? he seems to think we don't need one but i can see the need for it.. so who is right? or should we just sell the crappy van and get something else? tho that will not fix the the situation i think or am i wrong?

8 AnswersParenting10 years ago10 month old that hates rear facing?
okay so i have a 10 month old girl that girl that throws hissy fits because when i put her in the car seat she is fine until she can't see me (mom) and then she just freaks right out. she is 28 1/2 in tall and 23 lbs and walking unassisted. so my question is would you turn her front facing or just let her cry in the back rear facing?
3 AnswersNewborn & Baby10 years ago10 month old girl vomiting and has a slight fever?
so last night she woke up covered in her own puke and i mean it was everywhere all over her all over the crib everywhere! so i took her the ER because i was concerned that she has asperated and got it into her lungs! well they checked her over and said she has a bug and that she has fever they never told me what her fever was but they just push fluids. well this morning she puked a little of her bottle up(7:30 am), and since then she hasn't puked what i am wondering could there be an under lying condition? because last time she has a fever she has infected tonsils and and inbetween then she got a ear infection. i guess what i am wondering is could be a becterial because that seems to be the only time that she get a fever is when she has a bacteria in her system.
3 AnswersNewborn & Baby10 years ago10 month old still fits in her graco snugride 35 when should i switch her?
she will 10 months on the 13th and she still fits in her graco snugride. i have her in a evenflo triumph right now but because its cold here and you can't put then in there car seats with there jackets on i am thinking of switch her to the graco one just because i have her ready and in there before going out the van. what you mom do in this situation? she is 2 months away from being front facing and the evenflo one is put in the van with a folded blanket in the middle of the seat because the seat is so concave that other wise the nobs to tighten the straps would be pressed into the seat and i wouldn't be able to tighten her straps. what seat would you use in this situation?
3 AnswersNewborn & Baby10 years ago9 month old hates her car seat?
she has a well they both have a evenflo momentum 65 car seat and they hate that they can't see each other or play with each other while in there car seats because they can't see each other it's like they have blinders on. my 3 year old is 39 in tall so she has out grown a lot of car seats. are there are car seat that would let them see each over and play?
